Fishing Report Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 In the East Bay, fair whitefish action was reported in 130 feet of water off Deepwater Point. Swedish pimples or jigs tipped with minnows worked best. Lake trout have also been caught when jigging spoons in 110 to 150 feet of water off Deepwater Point and Willow Point. In the West Bay, whitefish were caught off Bingham Road. Lake trout were caught when trolling spoons and cowbells in 30 to 50 feet of water near the Brush Grounds.
