  1. I was wondering about the State Park N. of Muskegon. I'll probably sleep in the cuddy and hit the State park for the 3 Ss. How are the conditions @ this park? In Manistee I sleep in the boat or truck bed, right in the launch parking lot, then use the State Park for a shower etc. Is any of this possible in Muskegon? :)

  2. Bob,I cant wait to see your boat all rigged up. It sure looks fantastic. It looks like it was well taken care off.

Mine has a lot of hrs on it, is a little rough around the edges, and is old and slow. I think that's why I bought it. I can use the same description for me.:)

  3. I own one and the biggest advantage is fuel economy. I filled mine up today after two fishing trips, and it took 11 gallons. I had about 15-18 miles running and a total of about 8.5 hrs on the water counting the running and trolling. It has a 4 cyl 140 Mercruiser IO, and is a 22 footer. It fishes well, and trailers easy. I can fish with 4 comfortably, 5 not too bad, and 6 if I have to. It handles well in 4-5 foot seas.:)

  4. All of my engines, inluding the boat, run synthetic motor oil.

What kind of synthetic oil do you run? I have been running a synthetic blend in my car and truck. I may try synthetic in my boat if I can find a viscosity range of 20W40 or 25W40. Or maybe a straight weight oil would be OK also. Boats don't have to start in below zero temps.:)

  5. I keep two seperate snells; one for leaders that are shorter in length(~3') and one for sliders that are longer in length(~6').

I do the same thing on a swim noodle. One end has short leaders for dipsy rigging etc. The other end has 6 foot leaders for sliders.:) The swim noodles are cut into 12 inch lengths. :)
