  1. I have always used the #1 Dipsys, with and without the std ring, with great success. I did buy a few of the Monster rings to try on my low divers, when we are marking a lot of deep fish. The Dipsy has been my most productive presentation. Love the Dipsy Hootchie Mamma Squid combo. :)

  2. Wow!! I observe Bald Eagles all the time up here. In the Winter months when things get real quiet up here, I see them on the beaches. They do rule. I never thought they would go for a Deer. You should see the Gulls scatter when a Bald Eagle is around.:)

  3. Just dial your number Mike. If a fish answers keep him on the line. LOL It's a good idea to put your billfold, and other stuff that may work out of a pocket, in a bag on the boats dash. Leaning on the boat fighting a fish can work things out of you pockets and into the drink.:)

  4. Keep experimenting Dan. Last time out I spent a lot of time searching. I did find some fish, but it was almost time to go in. I'm slowly shifting away from the Walleye, and getting ready for Salmon Slamin. I may check out the weather for tomorrow and see if I can get those fish I found to go. All of June and the first week in July was FANTASTIC for me. The Saginaw Bay is second to none.:)

  5. There are only a few of us that post from E. side of Michigan also. I post some reports from Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay. The site is relatively new, but as more people join from the different areas the reports get better. Try posting some reports, and maybe it will take off on your side of Lake Michigan.:) Encourage others from your area to join us.:)

  6. TYVM Jason for having this Grumpy Old Man onboard. We do need that Walleye chop, but those 3 and 4 ft waves were a bit much. You and Brian should have come over for that fish fry. I had seconds, and there is still fish in the refrigerator cooked and uncooked.:) I'm going to check the weather for tomorrow and maybe give it a whirl.:)
