Yes, bluefin put the hurtin to the little perch on the west end, what were they about 4-5 inchers......

well, how did everybody else do?

we went 7for7, anywhere frm 50-85ft of water all on leadcore and dipseys....started at 2-8pm...

Yes, lead core is good when your away frm the pack, nightmare when you have to get on the radio when someone comes to close. To me its not worth it i catch fish without it....

Nice catch, might take a trip over to holland fri. night..... and give it a try sounds like the lakes been fishable for my 15 ft....

Started at 3pm out in 120-140 marked lots of fish, lots of releases but no fish, they ranged frm 40-120 down and were spread out, then came in around 60ft at dusk and started hooking up, the toll for the day 5for19:confused: like i said lots of releases out deep but no hook-ups.. until we got in shallow and we caught ower 5 fish frm 9:30-midnight on moonshine..... We were 0for 15 before 9pm... should have stayed in close water was very cool mid 40s.....

And here i sit 1hr 20min frm the closest port, WIsh i lived closer.....

Would like to go up the last weekend in july and troll for the atlantics in front of the power plant, done it for kings and pinks just wondered how the atlantic bite is....

Always went up for the salmon and walleye fishing never herring, are they in shallow or just find the schools..

If it glows go, I guess those moonshine spoons work good, i have a couple, did it once out of muskegon but didnt have glow had a release to dark to see ....

Anyone doing anything out of holland, might go tonight... looks calm for my 15ft tonight...

Also we were just north of holland most of the fish we marked were in the 170-190 ft range...

Started at 7:30 this morning first fish in 130 ft on dipsey on 3 155 green fish catch green fly, then nothing until we hit 170-180 feet another on dipsey but with a mixed veggie set the same as the first the rest of the day were knock-offs no fish at the end. Ended up 2-6:eek: colors were mixed, the rest of the knock-offs were on the down riggers set between 50-90 ft. JUst wondered how everyone else didthat morning in holland. Also was perfect for my little 15ft got nicer and calmer when we left at noon.. Tight lines all...

Just wondering how deep and where would be a good place to fish friday? Im limited on fishing this yr because of a house we bought. frm holland to muskegon would be nice. thanks a-bounch guys.....
