8/24/2013 Saginaw Bay Walleye

RIGHT ON, FRANK ! THE CATCHING WAS ONLY THE FROSTING ON THE CAKE. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IT WAS TO SHARE WITH GOOD FRIENDS ON THE BAY. WE RAN 4 OR 5 MILES SOUTH OF THE POINT, SET UP IN 34 TO 33' OF WATER ON A NORTHERLY TROLL. WE WERE PULLING INLINES 3 TO 10' OFF BOTTOM. IT SEEMED ONLY THE LARGER FISH WERE THE AGGRESSORS AS WE NEVER HAD A THROW BACK ALL AFTERNOON. ( RARE INDEED ) WE BOXED OUT WITH 10 BEAUTIES AND ONCE AGAIN THANKFUL FOR HAVING THE GOOD FORTUNE TO EXPERIENCE THE BAY. -

I have 3 manuals with the 4' extendable beams and swivel bases ([email protected]) i'll sell for $450 and throw in a forth with a clutch problem for free. Not to include shipping. They are in great shape. ( 989-710-1100 ) -
Since gettinga little long in the tooth i've come to love fishing meat ! It allows me to sleep in. Avoid the morning rush at the ramp. Go deep, avoid the traffic, fill the box and be back in before the evening traffic at the ramp. Oh, talking manistee.

Hey frank, heard you on the radio sunday. We took a 2 man limit in the early afternoon aprox. 5 mi. S/w of the hotel. 36 to 40 ft. Same program. 6 of our fish were 3lbs. Or bigger. Keep saying this will prabably be the last trip before heading west. With fishing being the way it is i'm finding it awful hard to leave home !!!! -

why are you so anxious for this season
knotatwork replied to sherman51's topic in General Discussion
For me it is the pursuit of what is elusive, but yet attainable....a perpetual occasion for hope.... -
Hi guys, i had to renew my plates in january. All i received back was the normal corner tab that did'nt say anything special on it. But my new registration shows i paid the $10.00 rec pass fee. Is the man in the both going to ask to see that, or walk around the truck ?

Frank, thanks for your generous offer. We have probably crossed paths at the bridge as i loved my steelhead and was a regular from the late 70's until the runs died off. I hear your name on the radio a lot. I'm usually fishing with fishdog or he is on my boat. I am also friends with just enough.looking forward to talking with you. Al
