  1. Here is the pic. Can't upload from the app for some reason. All kings and one greaser. Biggest was just over 20 on the boca.
  2. Set up north about 5 miles in 160 fow. At 6 pm. Two meat rigs two plugs two spoons. Trolled west into 180 and had hits on the meat on rigger and dipsy lost both. Switched to an all meat and fly program and that's when things took off. Finished 8 for 13 by 8:30. Any direction took hits. All came at 2.7-2.9 at the ball in 180-210 fow. Uv meat rig and paddle gold color. Chrome spinny and green meat rig White spinny and purple fly Mountain dew spinny and white fly Glow spinny with blue tape and blue fly. Riggers down 80 and 90 Wire divers on 1.5 back 200-220 were hot. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  3. I run a small ratchet strap from a back cleat around the kicker to one of my tie down hooks on the transom. I just snug it up a couple inches to take the bounce out. That way the bracket is just holding a static load. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  4. Wow nice work! Its Gonna be a great fall. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  5. Good job! I hope to be there tomorrow after work. Thanks for including the picture of the lures. Makes it very helpful. What was your best speed? Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  6. Nice work! We fished down to holland from p.s. and saw all the traffic and decided to spin around and fish back north. I guess we should have mixed it up down there. Sounds like that's where the better action was. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  7. Launched about 530. Set up in 120 fow 3 miles south. Caught 4 kings before 730 on a s.s.e. troll one 4 lb. Got tossed back. Other 3 were from 8-12 lbs. 2 on std. Blue flounder 1 on mag Orange flounder 1 in mag moonshine wonder bread All on rigger 84 and 74 down. Couldn't find any activity so went back north to where we started and trilled out to 160 and back into 90 with nothing to show for it so we called it a day at 11. Had two big rips on the wire divers with spin doctors and flies and one rip on a 7 color with a brads cut plug. Saw some nice big kings at the launch. Looks like it might be a good fall. 8. Post a link! Great job on the fish! it's always a trip getting those bigger kings in the boat solo. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  9. Thanks for the report. We have been seeing a lot of bait this year as well. Seems like the 120-130 has been good for a while. Cant wait to be out there on Saturday. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  10. Fished from 7-930 ended 1 for 1 Had no idea where yo start after the big blow so we headed northwest into the waves and set up in 175 fow. Trolled South East all the way back into 65 fow. Marked most fish in two areas. 135-125 and 80-70. Picked up one king 22.5 lbs in 100 fow on a mag lemon lime spoon slider on rigger 90 down. It tried to knit a sweater with the other lines but somehow we got it in the boat. Had one rip on a wire diver with white flasher and spin n glow near bottom in 150 fow but didn't stay buttoned up. The lake later down nicley and it was a beautiful night on the water. App won't let me post the pic. I'll try on the website. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  11. What depth did you set up in and troll to? Have some family in town for the weekend an hope to out them in some fish. Thanks
  12. I think I heard your updates on the radio last night. I also managed a fish when I bumped my speed up to 3.0 so maybe they wanted to see something with a little more wiggle to it. Good job on a slow bite! Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  13. Fished solo from 6-10:30 Finished 0/1. Found good marks in 95 ft. Straight out. Worked that for awhile then trolled out to 150 and back. Picked up a nice 12-14 lb. king in 105 on a downrigger 67 down. Flounder pounder spoon. Botched the net job. Oh well. Nice night for a boat ride. 14. That is my general length as well. Some times in the summer I have more success with longer leaders so I was just wondering if spring/early summer shorter might be the key. I guess I'll just have to get back out there and try it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  15. What length are you running for your fly leaders? I haven't been very productive yet this year with them. Looking for any advice. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  18. Ok so I lied. One was a coho. Mis identified it in the chaos this morning. I forgot what it is like to drive, net and hand line all at once. I think I need to shorten up my sliders when I'm all by my lonesome out there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  19. Set up in 70 fow 3 miles north at 5:45. Trolled South at 2.5 s.o.g. picked up 5 kings all on blue flounder pounder free slider rigger 57 down. Boxed out by 7:45 Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  20. Set up in 175 fow around 1pm. Trolled out to 205 with just one bump on a wire dipsy out 125. Trolled SE into 180 and picked up 1 on a 3 color with j-11 rapala and 1 on a 5 color Helmut spoon. Headed back out and caught 3 more in 200. Blue flounder pounder down 125 took 2 and a Orange crush down 100 took one. Trolled back toward the launch and called it quits around 645 when we hit 150 fow. Speed was 2.5-2.8 over ground. Hope to get a fishhawk soon.
