  1. Saugy was good to us a week ago! https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/ncast.php?lake=mih This shows warmer water out deep still. I’m wondering what’s out there… Trophy 1802 out of Holland
  2. Started around 9am. Unfortunately it was 2-4’ waves so we just trolled around with one line till about 11am when it calmed down and we were able to fish all 6. In about 2 hours we went 2/2 on browns. No real marks near the piers but between 30-40 fow within half mile north and south of the piers there were tons of marks. Both came on UV DW SS spoons 5 colors. Used my new ninja boards which pull great but couldn’t really tell when a fish was on. All my short colors are Penn 320’s and I love them but they’re old and need servicing, does anyone know of a good place to send them? Trophy 1802 out of Holland

Between 100-120 we took three youngish kings in the 12-18lbs range. Large paddle down 70’ & two hits on Ace Hi plugs UV. 2.7 SOG. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman

  16. Remember you can use shorter lengths with a simple snap on torpedo to get extra depth. I use one on my 150’ cu to mimic the depth of a 300. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  18. Fished 6am to noon. Started in 110 and went all the way out to 200. No marks, nothing. Came back into 180 when my mag dipsy exploded. Peeled out a solid 300’ of line. Tried to set the drag and.... POP! Not sure if the knot gave out but there’s a 30lb wire breaking salmon swimming around with a mag green dipsy and dreamcatcher flasher in his mouth lol. Only hit of the day. Nice day. No marks. Threw everything but the kitchen sink at em. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  19. I have a humminbird helix 2. I believe it only has one slot for charts. Can you not use the charting feature with the navionics card inserted? Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  20. Can anyone tell me which charts are better for Lake Michigan in a humminbird unit? I only fish Lake Michigan and Huron and want the most detail. Not sure if I should go with the lake master charts or the navionics charts. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
