  1. It was in the 90's, but this was the biggest one I got out there in my 3 trips. Guy told us to bring our own rods if we wanted, so I brought ml 6' walleye rod with 6 pound test Tilene.(back b4 all braid) One hell of a fight with that rig. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. Not sure if you are familiar with UP Angler, site. Has a few reports, but most people up here are closed mouthed. Check out the lake Superior section. DayBreak Charters(Marquette) and trip to Standard Rock would be the place to go for a true monster. Takes a lot of petro to get there so prices are too high for me anymore. But you won't regret going. But tons of good fishing close to shore also. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Take your fish finder off of "fish mode" could be showing plankton or bait and show as Fish. Actually quite useless on that mode, when you see banana shapes, it's fish. And believe you are running too fast. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. Might be a year older fish, I'm saying there is more than plenty enough bait to support a king fishery, unlike the DNR is trying to shove down out throats. And most of the "problems" are a direct F U of the DNR, be it the 50's or now. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. You guys are all over, love it.. Fishing Freaks for sure, good going on fish!, Nice up here where the big dogs roam, isn't it. With Lake Superior so close and the Northern Lake Mi fishery, hard for me to roam... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. And my GPS speed over ground is always a bit faster than my Depth raider at the ball. I have to be going at least 3, + at times, depending on current, to be 2.5 at ball. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. Just know it WAS weighed on registered scale ., I would imagine, they zero'd and put fish in. Or they are just showing you the digital readout of weight.
  8. Yep Seen more bait than they can eat, it is one hell of a big lake, the DNR can't tell you what's in a small inland lake let alone lake MI, .. Trying to pull wool over our eyes, once again......
  9. Not for sure, but do know Door Peninsula ports and ports of UP are landing some big fish. Heard of and seen pics of 29#, 28#, and tons in lower 20's. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. Look at this big male. Some big fish coming from Wi and Mi waters.
  11. $50 a piece+ shipping Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  15. Pm sent for Ciscos Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. I was running them within 2 ft of bottom. Kept bumping to make sure, then would come up 1' or 2. Both fish I caught hit right after bumping so I can see where it would work, but there was tons and I mean tons of smelt. Going to try a little deeper water next time out. Then I will bust out the 15# wts. Runing 12# for less. Also caught fish bumping bottom with Dipseys, wasn't using cowbells on them, Brads cut bait clean. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. How far off ball you guys running cowbells, tried them on Superior last time out, bouncing bottom with riggers, started close 10' couldn't get bit unless I was 40+' . I always run long leads on riggers now on other Riggs only cause it has increased my catch. When others say their riggers are dead, mine are lights out, sometimes 100'+ leads. I'm sure over 100', this may change.
  18. Darn thing won't let me download photos, sure it's operator error.
  19. Just got a couple Hanging Spoon Holders, very nice. Big Al's Lure Holders, thanks Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. If you want to get deep, bag that leadcore and switch to copper or Weighted Steel. Much deeper with less out. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. Or get Trolling bags. Got a couple cement blocks If you need an anchor. Lol. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. I have these same riggers, someone is going to get one hell of a deal here. Super smooth clutches, great rod holders, good luck selling. If I lived closer I would be on at least one. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. That's what you call an artificial reef. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. Great idea, but why can't you just use both motors with the front steering (with the prop on). I know people that do this. Cheap man's autopilot. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
