  6. We use all Shimano Toriums for our copper. No level winds. Adavantage is quicker deployment and pick up due to gear ratio. Challenge is you just have to watch for backlash. Trade off for quicker retrieve is worth it though.
  7. Schweeeeet look'in ride. Congrats!
  8. A beauty or sure. Keep the progress pics coming!
  9. Avoid. Can't find parts & costly repairs.
  10. Welcome Darl! Keep my boat in Ludville too! When it's on, it rocks!
  11. Rolling in an 09 F350 diesel 4x4 super cab long box as my daily ride. Sales job driving 70k+ miles per year. Suit & tie stuff. Just rolled 200k miles with no major issues. Rides... Like a truck. Tows anything and everything. 16k lb 28ft boat no prob. Gets 16 mpg daily 20 hwy. 5th diesel truck in a row. Used to make sense when gas was comparable. My next one will be gas. Cheaper to run & maintain.
  12. I just use'em when flat lining mono with cranks for spring coho, browns & shallow kings. Don't want to reel in 5, 7 & 10 colors to reset the 3 on the outside with big boards.
  13. I use big boards in the spring only, when all the lures we are running are at the same depth. If your 3rd line in releases, then just push the others down the planner board line and reset on the inside. However, once we start fishing for salmon at different depths, I move to in line boards as they are easier to reset.
  14. Piling over from the other site. Glad to be here!
