  3. Went out with the boy Wed. night fished from 5pm till around 9pm going 4 for 7. Started in 100 fow on a n/nw troll. Lake was flat, made it out to 195 fow without a bump playing shoot the flys with rubber bands, then switched to a moonshine program and made the east turn in. As the wind picked up and took the flys with it our first fish came in 177fow on a flounder pounder on 7 a color then the double on a moonshine brooke trout down 50 on a rigger. Then made a s/se turn. Got the 7 color flounder back out and wasnt long that went again then the brooke trout again staying in 175-177 fow . Lost one on a Blue Dolphin glow back dw on 5 color, had another on Double Trouble on a 10 color lost it and lost another on the brooke trout 50 down on rigger. 2were around 8# and other 2 were in the 3-4# class. Gonna try for some gills later today and rainbows at an inland lake later tonight. Go Fish!

  6. How does it feel to lose to the young grasshoppa Rich? I dont know who it was that said I owe Team "caz attack" 3 fish for teaching me how to fish, but I didnt do anything Rich taught me that day..... I did what Plumkrazy showed me. I will prolly have my brother in law onboard for the next one, so you MIGHT have a chance at redemption Rich. We had a good time out there on Sunday. Cant wait for the next one. Nice job to those that placed!!
  7. Welcome to the Site, im not to far from you. You can check out the where and the when and the rules for these tournaments in the "Tournaments" section then go to the "West Michigan Fishing League" right at the top of that page to sign up. They are alot of fun and Great People to fish with.

  9. Wished I coulda fished this. The Dirty Dog allways seems to clean house, someone needs to do something about this. Paired with Adam and Phil and you might as well jus hand them the money before you even go fishing. Nice job to everyone that fished, looks like everyone did pretty good.
  10. Your gonna need a diving suit, I threw him back. We released all of the bigger fish we caught. I got a picture of those 2 because they were caught at the same time and its the biggest my nephew had ever caught. He was pretty geeked. You can see him diggin in the background in the storage compartment for the scale.
  11. Spent the weekend bass fishin with my family (6 of us in our little boat). Was a pretty decent opener for us and I am now a member of the 5 pounder club for 2008. Using wacky rigged senkos. Caught a 14 inch crappie of all things on that bait set up to. The fish pictured here are 4.2 and 4 pounds, one was caught by my nephew and one by his dad. GO FISH!
  12. Just goes to show..women dont know how to park.

  15. Ask me after May 4th and I will tell you anything you want to know.....jus kiddin brah. Stinger size. sendin u a pm.
  16. Did best with small stinger spoons in 20-40 fow. Slow speed 2mph to 2.2mph. Found surface temp breaks from 47.5 to 51.3 deg.. Best was in the 51 deg. range.
  17. Went 7-11 today. Heres a few pictures of the big ones. Fish On! GO FISH!
  18. Im not sure that stuff would work to transmit the info from my sensor thru the cable. I found some 150# coated cable. The kind cannon gives you for the speed and temp. is 135# coated cable. I used it last year with 150# non-coated cable and found it works fine if not past 80 ft. (wich i never will go much past that anyways using manual riggers). N E whoo gonna give the 150# coated cable a try and go with a snubber between ball and sensor.
  19. TY Frank, thats what i was looking for. I did try a little bit of online research and came up with nothin. So the numbers have nothing to do with diameter or thickness of the line, just means a better grade ss that will probably last longer correct? Thanks.
  20. What is the difference in downrigger cables (ive noticed some are type 316,type 304 also seen type 302, all are rated at 150#)? What type/brand would you consider the best/strongest on the market? Reason im asking is im about to purchase another sensor for a speed and temp., and i'd like to have the strongest cable out there to protect from another break and losing another sensor. Thanks,Sea-Mac.
  21. Very Nice Job on the 3rd place Terry and crew! Pwum Twazy good to see you and Adam as well.
