  1. It has been two years and they work great and rival and other rigger I have used. Haven't used them in the salt but worked great in the upper lakes and Res. here in Washington State I put 48" arms on the and will be adding one down the middle this winter.
  2. I've had BigJon riggers in the past and they always had good service from them.
  3. Do a search in the Pacific North West where a lot of outboards are converted to a jet pump and there is a lot of lower units floating around
  4. I'm in the north west and there is a lot of sportjets here and it seems that they are getting away from them. They use a lot more fuel than a standard outboard.
  5. That is for sure. I don't drink or smoke. But I'm getting ready to build a off road buggy so this might get spendy
  6. Hi My name is Steve and I'm a tackle hoarder. The biggest problem with this is I have salmon in fresh and salt, bass, walleye, sturgeon, bottom fish and steelhead in the rivers so there is a lot of tackle to collect
  7. I miss the Great Lakes and love reading about everyone's outings
  8. Close off the Chicago river for a bit and as it goes dry kill the Asian carp and have crews picking out the game fish. I know this is never going to happen.

  11. The problem I have is I'm in Washington St. and the boat is in Waukegan Ill. Just looking for option. I could just do a base plate with knobs also
  12. Thank you. I did find the Cannon track locally but they didn't have any inserts.
  13. I have a Question on Bert's Tracks. The sliding insert that fits them. I need the dimension for width and thickness of the flange so I can make my friends rod tree to work with something like that. Or is there a track system that is cheaper. Not one store in my area sells them. Thanks Steve
  14. I am all for this. I also plan to make a donation to this to help it happen
  15. I'm not sure if this has been brought up. Last year was my first year with electric down riggers and had braid on one and 150 lbs cable on the other. Braid even down to 75' had very little blow back with only a 8 lbs ball. The wire is what I was use to and had to watch my turns. Braid had zero hum and I didn't see any fish catching ability from one to the other but jellyfish kinda got stuck on the braid more then cable. This is in salt water.
  16. The top will be open as well as swivel and removable for storage. so far it has been a little slow getting them done with Christmas rush going on but I do have until mid spring to get them to him.
