Keith actually has had some for quite awhile. He just hasn't been happy with exactly how they were working, he has been tweaking his design and what he has now is a winner.

I agree Jay, I also used the stackers last fall and they worked great !

I seen that guy ( or another just like him) fishing from a kayak at South Haven a couple weeks ago. He was way in tight to the beach inside of all the boats. I was to far away to see if he was catching fish or not, but he kept going back and forth in a fairly small area.

I have 150" of line attached to my anchor and another 150' coiled up if I need it. Your anchor will not hold in over 100 fow with 150' of rope.
Sea anchors are cheap and invaluable in high seas with no way to get an anchor to bottom. Every boat should have at least one. I carry two.

I learned a long time ago to buy the best I can afford. It usually keeps stuff like this from happening.

Welcome !

That one will be an easy pick Matt. And I doubt you will pick the Blacks. Once you go Chamberlain...you won't go Black !

I caught a brown last week at South Haven with no fin clips either.

Great Report !

That's not fishing....that's catching !

Happy to hear you are on the mend !

Welcome Tom !

I have the stackers and they are every bit as good as the release. The hitting the rigger and automatically dropping down to the ball is a real nice feature. I used them last season and they are another great product from Chamberlain.

Great post. You will be glad you spent the extra.

That 16 lber is a great fish ! Beautiful too !!!

You are running your dipsey's on the wrong sides of your boat.
-
That seemed to be the only place I could find them on Thursday. In fact I may have been farther South than that.

Beautiful Browns !!!!

There has to be some good saltwater action not to far from where you will be. Closer than Michigan anyway...
Good Luck in your new endeavor !

Just guessing Duane....but I bet I was close to 3 miles south of Palisades. I had a feeling the boat traffic had the fish in a funk, so I got away from everybody to find my own fish. Nothing was fast and furious, we just plugged away at them.

Nice fish Capt. !

Boy, I thought my day at SH wasn't very good, but I guess it turned out alright.
We ended up with 8 coho,2 lakers and a brown. Had to go way south to find em. I bet we lost at least 20 fish today. Yesterday we took an easy 3 man limit on very aggressive fish. Today the fish we caught were all lightly hooked. We only had one double today, yesterday we had several triples.

Nice to be out on soft water again, huh ! Got some nice fish too, good job.
