  1. Call Frank at Amish Outfitters and he will set you up and also exchange them if they are the wrong size.
  2. I have used them many times over the years with no issues. They also answer all thier emails. Before xmas I got en email with a discount code for 20% off everything in their store except downriggers and electronics and in Febuary I got a 10% off. A tom mik flies 20% off was great.
  3. I bought a 1998 3100 open last winter, my dream boat. Tiara has great support on new and older boat. They will help you working out problems or just getting to know your boat. They even helped me with questions I had when I was looking at used Tiara's that I was interested in buying. Tiara's are great boats and the support you get matches the boat.
  4. Buggy Bags or Beefy Bags from Amish Outfitters is what I use and they are really nice bags and last for years. Call them and I'm sure they can help you with the size you need. 1-800-473-1748.
  5. I like the pro troll because of the fin design, I don't know about the e chip. I also use Opti-Tackle Inticers which have a Double fin design with no e chip and they also work great.
  6. offshore boards with an or16 clip - that the clip with a pin in the center so it won't come unhooked and slide down the line.
  7. Western end of lake Ontario - Niagara Bar, Wilson Harbor, Olcott Harbor and Oak Orchard. In the spring we fish mostly Niarara Bar to Wilson. If you come here you'll get hooked.
  8. I would have to say a fish finder, it is your eyes under the water. You have to find the fish before a gps will help you keep on the fish.
  9. The lakeland stuff is not interchangable because the track is half the width of berts or traxtechs. This Lakeland track system is a copy of a system that I bought in the early 90's, but this stuff is not as nice and its not USA made. I would buy berts or transtech.
  10. Your welcome Ed. I'll be buying the St70 myself soon.
  11. Ed, Don't forget to go to Raymarine and register your new autopilot and you will get an extra year of warranty from Raymarine. I'm waiting to see if Raymarine is going to offer rebates because I'm getting the autopilot and electronics from them. Good Luck and enjoy.
  12. Furuno makes the Nav-Pilot 511 with and with out rudder feedback. I'm looking at autopilots myself and have it narrowed to Raymarine or Furuno.
  13. Hi, my name is Hank Condes and I run a boat out of Wilson Harbor, N.Y. called BladeRunner fishing for trout and salmon. My boat was a Baha Cruiser 251 Fisherman but I just upgraded to a Tiara 3100 Open and I’m getting ready to rig her out, so I’ll be doing a lot of searching on the forum. I can’t wait for my first season in a Tiara – been waiting a long time for this.
  14. Rick, I have the Clam base camp thermal and its real nice but you do have to fasten it down and fasten and tie the side in the wind, it only takes a minute with a small battery drill. The thermal is heavier so it does't get as noisy in the wind. It also stays flat to the ice pretty good and doesn't need as much heat. Hank
  15. My biggest fish was a 38lb king caught in 1999 at Mexico Bay Lake O. I was in the LOC Derby that year and this fish was too small to place in the top 20 Kings if you can beleave that but it was a beautiful fish and a great memory.
