  1. Well to tell the truth I have alterior motives... You see my Wife always drives for me, and normally she's in the sun, even with the top up she's in the sun, like when it's coming up or going down and as long as she's driving she cannot get out of it, and this fall they discovered pre-cancerous spots on her face, the side that faces PORT side..where the sun comes in harshly..... so THis is one of my remedies....now she can get out of the sun if she needs to and she can enjoy the boat much more, I bought her a fishing hat that has a large brim, and she looks great in it, but she doesn't think so.. So I'm looking into a pilot to drive for her.. and Auto Pilot....damn I hiope it will work and she doesn't think I'm trying to Replace her... but we all know Women.... somehow it will get turned around.... won't it?

  2. Ok I'm looking into this.... I want an Autopilot, but does anyone have an Autopilot for their boat? And How do you like it, Mainiac says it would save My Marriage, (though not in trouble) I think it would free up my Wife so she could read a book, maybe Love me up a little more while we're fishing... Ahh Hell Let me know what you all think...Please.

I have to Have a Raymarine one as well, to control the Power steering cable, it's all driven by cable...Imagine that..

  3. Good Morning all, and hows' the weekend going for everyone, I'm looking for a Raymarine Fishfinder Tutorial....got a new one this year as those on the board may know, and I'd like to know how to use it and adjust it before I hit the water this spring, it would be so much easier this way....

Can anyone tell me where this may be??? Looking for something online..... yeah know.

  4. My wife, is the best as well. She drives for me while I fish and I know she loves to fish, but let's me bring in the fish... Damn I don't know how to thank her, she's been so great, this coming year its going to be less fishing and more Romance on the boat.... because this year was all about fishing for me... and she stuck through all th bad days...What a woman she been for me... she's A Captains Captain like yours.....This is a pic of the Love of my life...God she gives a lot to me.... and it's time, I do the same...

  5. This trailer doesn't have buddy bearings at all, have to take the caps off and watch for the grease to come out around the bearings and Nut, and I won't over great them at all, I'd seriuosly like to get the boat off the trailer and repack all the bearing again, just for safe keepin, know what I mean.???? I'll watch them like a Hawk now and regrease at least once a month or so, thanks FRANK for the advice... I appreciate it greatly.

  6. Wow, I think I've finally avoided the bearing demon.... Made the trip from Flint to Coopersville to get her winterized and repaired..(lil crack in the swimplatform) and had NO bearing issues... Damn I'm happy......

Felt them half way there they weren't even warm.....I'm going to re-grease them every trip carry aprtable grease gun with me yeah Know???

  7. Yes the ball hitch is for The snowmobile trailer, and whatever else I can tow with it, the Fifth Wheel Hitch is attached to the trailer right now, cause I had to move some furniture...

To answer franks question, I'm really NOT looking for better mileage, though it should improve up to 5 mpg, I can get 16 when moving at 64 MPH, and 10 mpg towing, with the 433 rear end, it's not a mileage gear, but Man can it pull.

Thanks guys for the comments, Mike how do you like your interior in that Valasa Raptor?

I love mine, though it's a ittle stiff, it's very light biege, I worry bout it getting dirty so I make sure I'm clean most of the time.

That big block in your truck,... your going to LOVE that creature..

  8. Well I did it, I bought the Airmar B64 20 degree element, and with that you need to cut a 3 3/4" hole in the bottom of the boat, I'm hear to tell you it went well, cutting into the hull was a little un nerving..but with a hole saw it wass made easy... and it fit in with a little filing on the edges,Sealed it in with 3M 5200 sealant/Adhesive and now I have to wait until spring to see if it leaks.....but with that adhesive/sealant.... I don't think there will be any leaks, I'm not really worried.., now to install the sounder, I'm having trouble locating a good spot to put it in, Raymarine doesn't want it in the engine compartment....So... I' crawl around and find a perfect site for the sounding box.....Hope I don't get stuck..:thumb::thumb::thumb:
