  1. I fourcur on the snaps Idea but would like to see the sanps that are screwed into the cooler, Through bolted, with small Machine screws and larger fender washers inside the cooler for more strength for pulling off the female snap........ Just some advice from your Loving Boltman... in the screw business.

  2. JIm that pic is taken in Elk RAPIDS, You are looking out from the harbor onto the east bay, and yes it is a great place to just cruise...and Fish after August, the salmon don't get there until later in the year.

  4. Ok guys i can see you need to be told....." Settle Down Now, Come on Now!!!" If you let this thing get the best of you , you won't be able to focuss on what's real, like saving money NOW so you can put it all into the tank this summer or spring. Think of ways to save money during the winter season, so you don't have to worry about summer gas bills, or summer repair bills... Here's one...for ya'll.

Two winters ago I put in a Wodd burning stove in my living room, (two story farm house) I've spent 600.00 on wood this winter and I bought enough to get me through completley..thus saving me 3000.00 in Propane..My Farmhouse used to Burn 11 gallons a day of propane, now it burns less then 3 gallons a day, and the 800 gallons I just bought to fill the tank, will last until Next January... so I'll save 2500.00 a year, and that should get me a good start with fuel in that New Monster...But I doubt we'll go through taht much fuel, since well we don't get up on plane that much at all...even if we do I'm still saving 2500.00 a year from propane where as I can put that into something else...

It's a lot of work, loading the stove every 3 hours... but it's worth every penny...

  5. Well we're KNOT one's to sit at the dock, so I cannot let this boat intimidate me, and not use it like a 32 footer. When we're at the marina's like Elk Rapids, we use our boat all the time and actually got the Award for the season "People who actually get out and use their boat Award" I know it sounds weird, but Damn Why wouldn't you want to get out and enjoy the water, views and weather, if not just only to go across the bay anchor in the swimming water and swim... This boat drafts 48 inches,so we're still good to go swimming, We work too damn hard NOT to get out and enjoy Life and what life has to offer. I truely do not understand sitting at the dock all day and drinking Beer... sorry Guys Not a beer Drinker but I still don't understand sitting at the dock when the water has so much to offer.....

  6. Well I like what used to be our Play Area,,,Elk Rapids I don't have a map of it, but Im' sure I can snag one from the internet.

And as for this COLD, I'm a little over it, too bad it's not over me....Damn the bad Luck

  7. what i'm afraid of.... is the saying "the bigger the boat, the less you use it" I've read that in Lakeland boating... We're just going to have to take her out on the water every weekend possible... good thing is, we don't really cruise that fast, like 10 knot's is good for us.. so it won't burn that much fuel...

  8. I've seen that boat, THought it was a 50 footer though.... Snafu doesn't go out on the water that much though....We're going to see this boat Next weekend, providing the ADMIRAl doesn't get sick with MY cold that I have right now.... man this is a bad cold..I've used two boxes of Kleenex so far and it's not over.. and this one came from the MOTHER IN LAW... she's living with us now... But sh'es a good woman..

  9. Pictures like these help me through the winter....1st pic is just a friends boat on another Site. 2nd pic is the actual boat We're looking at purchasing. As of now I'm going to have a conversation with "Hour Time" Captain Mark about Trolling Valves...

With Auto pilot... Wish me Luck Guys..

  11. Tony It does deserve a lot of nice Rods, and I'll be Happy to Demo and I'll even Rep. your company and sell those rods for you when you biuld 4 more rods for me like the last ones and let me demo them on this boat..I'll even email you feedback and results of those rods you so gratciuosly donated for this boat, But I will NOT put a sticker on the side of it...Let me know and we'll close this deal.

  12. For those of you who wanted to know what I'm looking at, and what kind I'm looking at, here it is, It's not much of a fishing boat, seeing that I'll have to install Trolling valves on the motors to get it to troll at 2 mph, but it's not like it hasn't been done before.. Before I started salmon fishing we were nothing boat cruisers and well I want to keep my beautiful wife comfortable on the cruiser while we're up in the North Channel and other places as well....
