  1. Come on Now Guys, I wouldn't be out on the swim platform in 4-5 footer either, but you also have to remember my swim plat for is 15 feet wide and 5 foot deep, it's not a platform it's a part of a barge...and the railing is going to have sides on it and be bolted to the swim platform itself, I want it to be strong and secure.

  2. Hey Guys, Well it's winter time again and I've got a great idea. I want to have built a Stainless Steel Rail Fabbed for my swim platform. You see I have channels in the swim platform that anchor down the dinghy davit system, but I want to remove those davits when I want to taker her out Fishing, and slide in a stainless Steel Railing that is by-folding on each end for storage that will have maybe two Rod Holders installed on it, or maybe even a rigger or two installed on it....I'm going to try to find a pic of the swim plat form empty so you all can get a good idea, just wanted to get some gears turning in those Brilliant minds of yours, cause You guys to me.. are the Pros..who would know what I need...I'll get back to this later with Pics. These pics aren't my boat , but this is what I'm talking about, I 'm going to try to find out where this man bought this or built it, It's going to be awesome, but I figured you guys could do better with ideas.... what do you think????

  3. Hey Guys, I've got a brother in law in Mac City who needs help finding the salmon, Does anyone know coordinates or maybe where the banks and valleys are. He's off the Lower Penisula east of Mackinaw City and is having a hard time. Maybe someone up there or in the UP can let me know, so I can relay to him.... Thanks.

  4. Well we're back to me rigging the Yacht, I don't want another headache to have to maintain... and well there's a 52 footer out there with 1000hp MANS and he too had to put trolling valves on his to slow it down... Now she's talking about a New Fish Finder for the Yacht. I'm all good about that, Cuase it doesn't have a Fish FInder Now...all I have to do is drill 2 more holes and we're good to go...and wire in the riggers...that's easy too..

  5. Well The admiral doesn't want me to rig the yacht with trolling valves and rod holders to get these Feesh on board the new boat, I'm hurt... She asked me if I wanted to pic up like a 24 foot used boat for fishing only.... I don't get it, so I'm looking at what's out there, I'm thinking about like a 24' Sea Ray Cuddy Cabin... like an 87 or older... What's your thoughts people... I don't even want to do this, I want to rig the yacht....and only have to maintain 1 boat..

  6. I'm planning on getting the Trolling valves this winter, plus I have something in mind for the swim platform... it has a dinghy system on it now with channels that bolts fit into, in order to hold onto the dinghy, I'm thinking a Stainless steel Gate with downrigger mounts on it..about 24" high maybe 36" with supports. I'm going to draw something up soon.

  8. No, I know why they planted the Salmon in Lake Michigan, I just wanted to know why all of a sudden they were there. And the Sea Gulls weren't even eating them either, must have been Full.

How's the fishing been over there in Ludville, I haven't even been out fishing yet, still getting used to the boat and well it's been expensive, right now it's in the repair shop in Spring lake getting a hole fixed in her side.... don't even ask, it's a sore spot in my life right now...

It's being fixed and covered by insurance, well at least the largest part on it..

  9. I know I've been very quiet, not posting much at all, kinda losing the yearning for Fishing....But here She is, The New Ambiance....And she got plenty of spots for Rod Holders...Two spots already are pre-drilled already. And she will move slowly at 3 knots which is 4.5 MPH and I can take it out of gear once in awhile to slow it down...

I'm getting a little excited about fishing on her someday soon...

  10. It comes with a 10 foot dinghy with a 25 HP Yamaha outboard...Awesome, I'm goin to look at a 300HP merc for the Dinghy, I think that'll get me places quick.. LOLOL

Heres another side view of the boat, from furthur away.

Gotta Get ME some Salmon onboard, it even has a livewell, can you believe it Guys... a Livewell, fit's like 20 Salmon.

  11. Yeah We've got to have Trolling valves installed to get it to slow down on the troll, she idles at 7 knots, I'm thinking Ain't no Kings gunna catch mah spoons or dipseys. But I am saving all mah riggers and I'm going to install all the rod holders in her myself so I get it done right, the first time...

She has 670HP MANN's diesels in her, they are Monsters and she'll cruise at 35MPH, but burns 48GPH each engine at that speed, we're going to keep her a lot slower then that...Yeah know.

Hey KJ, The Boats Home Prt is in Sturgeon Bay, right where you're at!!!!!!!!!!!!
