  1. I'm putting my truck up for sale, 125,000 miles, dealer maintained. HID headlight upgrade, under coated and rust proofed, spray in bedliner, matching fiberglass topper, 4" step bars. Excellent condition $36,500.00
  2. I have one on my boat, very reliable and simple to maintain
  3. I have canned my salmon in a pressure cooker, both fresh and smoked and neither turns out mushy, I would not recommend using any other method other than pressure canning on salmon though, whether it is fresh or smoked.
  4. Wire line works well with divers, I used to have trouble with them releasing on mono. the torpedo wire I use now eliminated that problem
  5. There are days when you cant keep a meat rig in the water, but the flasher and teasers are the important thing, need the right color. I have real good luck with the Jon King Black and white glow paddle with the red eye and red teasers.
  6. I might be interested in that information as well.
  7. SeaCatMich, what are the specs on your electric winch
  8. The electric winch I have is a powerwinch RC30
  9. I have been using an electric winch on my SeaRay 270 Amberjack for about 3 years and it went to pieces the last time out last summer. It is going to cost more for parts to repair than I paid for it ($400) so I am thinking of going back to a hand crank winch, but I don't want something that doesn't do the job when I am loading the boat at 11 at night after a day of fishing. I usually trailer the boat every time I fish so a good winch that will make this job as easy as possible would be the ticket. Any good suggestions? I really liked the electric winch, didn't even have to get in the water, but it was the heaviest one I could find and over time it just gave out. Thanks
  10. I had that happen and had to remove the receiver from the truck and have the hitch pressed out at a metal shop
  11. I feel the most important part of radar is using it to navigate in fog and in the dark, you cant be without it. Can't do that with radar from a phone.
  12. The only problem I have is ruining the hooks trying to get them out after the fish has swallowed the whole thing, when they hit a meat rig they take it all the way.
  13. I have left extra in the freezer over the winter that had been frozen/thawed a number of times. I thought the strips looked so bad I almost threw them away, but I tried them and the fish didn't seem to mind at all.
  14. Same here, haven't had a break off yet.
  15. I use the Black Mamba GLOW with the red and black twinkies and meat head, some days I can't keep it in the water. It is by far the best meat rig I have used.
  16. A friend gave me some canned salmon last year and it was enjoyed by all. I am thinking about buying a pressure cooker to try canning my own. Anyone have any experience, and/or canning recipes?
  17. The Ludington City Marina is very reasonable, and they are the closest to the big lake.
