  3. my god!!! those have to be some of the most irresponsible pilots, how dare the risk the lives of all the passengers??? every aircraft has a MAX demonstrated landing crosswind, the CRJ i am in is 27knts dry, 15knts wet, and 10knts contaminated, 150knts i hope the get there tickets taken away from them. i guess the Germans cant say,.....tower we need to divert to our alternate...i am sure that airbus was screaming to them WHOOP!! WHOOP!!! WINDSHEAR WINDSHEAR!!!!! that pisses me off!!

  8. thanks frank, got the same lites from cabelas for about the same cost, cheaper online, but shipping cost $10, i was pricing new wire to replace the old, and to make long stiry short, went to menards and got an 25foot extention cord for $3.00, so when you see an ISLANDER rolling down the road lit up like a christmas tree, that would be me!!! here are some pics, ive got only one more side to do, THEN DIRECTLY TO THE LAUNCH!!

  13. even the wire has a slightly bigger dia. it is heavier than PP and cause the wire to dive deeper!!! here is the raw data......mag dipsy "0" setting #30lbs wire....210 feet out...100 feet down......same as above using #30 PP.......210 feet out....96 feet down... joe, well worth the $25n change @ cabelas www.precisionangling.com

  16. welcome to the site commercialdaughter, guys sounds like she knows what she is talking about, i tend to always err on the side of safety or the most conservative, seem to me the risk Vs. reward just not worth it!!! the only fishing ill be doing near any net is the one in my net holder on board!! the other ones ill be trying to give a wide berth!!!

  23. dive bombs are nothing more than a diving lip/bill very similar to the lip/bill on crank bait, you just clip them on your line. as easy as that. i do not know of any published dive curve data. ive never owned or used them so thats all ive got to say about that.....john
