Went out Wednesday afternoon/evening from 4:30 to 10:30 with the8point. It was a great evening for fishing except for all of the darn flies! We went 3 for 6, having a hard time getting a bite as well as keeping a consistent speed. We fished straight out, starting @ 80 ft., fishing all the way out to 150 ft. Our first fish came @ 135 ft. on the downrigger and a NK caramel dolphin, 45 back and 70 down. Not too long after that, we had 2 more rips, both with the same set-up, losing both.:( We then started trolling back in and @ 110 ft., we got our second fish on a dipsy diver with a squeechie fly(green glow). While fighting our second fish, the wire dipsy went off 110 ft. back with green fishcatcher and green caznik fly. Although it was tough having a double on in the dark, we ended up landing both fish. The three fish weighed 18 lbs., 15 1/2 lbs., and 13 lbs. All in all, it turned out to be a very good trip out!
