After pulling in some nice catches earlier this month to the south the shoreline bite dried up for us this past week. Today my 4 boats fished 60 to 80 feet of water south of the power plant and caught some Lake Trout, King Salmon and our first Rainbow Trout of the season. Fish are still scattered due to the cold water and no forming thermocline yet. A rattlesnake took the Rainbow while the Lakers and Kings came on glow spoons suspended on the downriggers. If we keep these winds in a southerly direction and get the current moving northward I think the fishing will improve and maybe we will get into some Coho and Rainbow action before June. Good luck fishing this season as we'll see you on the water.
