Mushy's Dad Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 Fished from 5am until 2pm with the brother Chris, his GF, and Mushy. Started out at 300 to 360. Lemon ice on 5 color and seahawk bcbp with silver dodger picked up 2 bow. yellow fly and yellow flasher 80 ft back and 80 ft down got the laker. and found 2 shakers on both bcbp set ups, they were both DOA. Pulled up stakes and headed in for smoother waters. Set up in 180 and continued to head in until 100, land a 12 king on the bcbp wonder bread and wonder bread dodger 60 ft down and 100 ft off the ball. Found one more shaker on the bcbp again. Ended up going 4 for 4 plus 3 shakers. Makes a guy wonder how many other fish you miss by having the shakers sucking on the end of the lines....... Had a great time with the family.
