This place is in Manistee and has one listed on eBay. It's a NOS (new old stock). AA Marine. $25 includes shipping.
Do a search on eBay I saw some for under $10 including shipping.

When you read 16v with just the key on engine not running, that is a dead give a way that the gauge is bad. The battery alone will only read around 13V. With engine running alternator will put out 14-14.5v.

It looks good Cazz. Jammin and Salmon Slammin. Cazz ROCKS.

We just used the terminator's provided by Moor on ours. I'm not familiar with the walker, does that metal peice extend all the way through the release? We use the Scotty Pinch releases that extend from the back of the cannon balls for releases.
The pic I posted are of Walker Stackers. These tread on the rigger cable and are free sliding until you pull up on them and a cam wheel locks them to the cable. The white deals are used to hold the releases to the boom until you reach the point that you want to lock them.

Very Nice Jason. She rides as good as she looks.

The CG should drag every SQ YD of the area and charge it's expenses to the tribe. Lost nets WTH.

A big 10-4 on the tinsel fly inside a glow squid. I have used them before and have some on order. I thought you were going to use the squid like a teaser ahead of the fly, like many do with meat rigs.

Thanks for the report. I used to fish those bridges. One year we took the boat and anchored in Lindy's cut, and caught mostly doubles. They were hitting even bare gold hooks.
-
I run a lot of #4 and #5. I like the glows.

Last year was not our best year for large Kings. We did take some limits. I only made 4 trips to Lake Michigan last year for Kings. 06 was a much better year for us. I did manage a 9# 30-1/2 inch walleye in 07, and more limits than not.
Here is my nephew off Manistee on my boat.

GL 2 U also Bob. I'll make my first trip sometime this week.

I know some that tie heavy mono to the reel and splice the wire to it with the albright knot, or reverse albright.
-
The docks are in @ the Tawas DNR Launch. There is some ice floating around the harbor.

-
Heres a little twist to a GR8 recipe. Try making the chowder with smoked salmon. All I had was smoked salmon.

-
No these will not work on coated cable. Walker doesn't make them anymore, but I have some. They have a cam wheel that locks them to the uncoated cable.
-
Always good to get the first one behind you.

-
WTG Cazz. I'll get on the water sometime this week.

-
I think some were using the Albright and Reverse Albright.
OOOOPs Sorry that was for splicing. -
I like the Walker releases also. Did you ever use these Walker stackers??

-
The wire should come off the bottom of the spool and on to the bottom of the Cannon. If it starts to twist let it come off the top for awhile.

-
GJ Wheels. I'll be on the water sometime this week.

At least you made it out on this gorgeous day. I did a little garage cleaning, and washed the car and truck.
I'll be on the water sometime this week. -

I'm glad you found and fixed the problem. It helps when you have the tools you need.

The 316 is a better grade of SS than the 302 or 304. The 316 has more nickel and chrome, and is more corrosion resistant. Watch your rigger wire for kinks and abrasions. Play it extra safe with the rigger with the probe.
