  2. Seahunt is right ...the water has changed. But last thursday I got the hog in 232 fow slightly north of GH. By friday when I was pre-fishing for the tournament, the salmon were gone. Here's a pic of the hog... the small king is 16 lbs! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  3. Fished 6:30 to 11. Went 3/4 with a small steelie and 2 kings. Since I'm fishing the GH tournament this weekend, not much detail ...but I landed a 28 lb King on a five color with a coyote spoon around 9:30 this morning.   4. Set lines about 6:00 near the ironsides wreck (~120 fow) and trolled NW. picked up a small kin in 135 fow on a free slider with a double orange crush with rigger down 90. Caught a second king in 144 fow on a rigger down 80 with a magnum mixed veggie spoon. From all rods set to 2 fish was about 20 minutes! Continued nw to 175 fow then headed back toward shallower water. Finally picked up a small trout on the rigger with the mixed veggie about an hour before sunset.   5. Great bite this morning off the GH pier. Went 4/5, all kings, 7,12,14 & 15 pounds. Fished the south mud line from 55 to 75 fow. 2 fish on a 10 color with a fuzzy bear aly cat spoon (blue/green with a red eye). 2 fish on a red/white small spoon free-slider with the rigger down 44. 1 fish on a small green flouder pounder free slider with the rigger down 38.   6. Fished from 8 to noon and went 1 for 2 with a 16 lb King caught on a DW UV Glow Signature Series spoon (green) on a rigger down 41 ft in 70 fow. Was fishing south of the pier in 60 to 75 fow. Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

Fished 6 to 9 pm and went 2 for 2. 9.5 lb Steelhead in 130 FOW on a green slide diver and a small blue splatter back plug back 120. 18 lb King in 90 FOW on a 225 Copper and a wonder bread spoon about 10 minutes after sunset.   8. Fished from 6:30 to 9:00 without a single bump on 9 lines. Trolled NW from 125 FOW to 180 FOW and back. Saw lots of bait balls but marked very few fish. Fished 6:45 to 10:30 and went 2 for 3: - 12 lb King on a 7 color with coyote blue dolphin in 131 FOW - lost a nice Coho at the boat in 151 FOW on a green slide diver with a small mtn dew paddle and green/white fly back 100 - 10 lb Steelhead on 5 color in 150 FOW on a spoon similar to a DW Monkey Puke.   10. 24 and 29 lb Kings tonight in 180 to 200 FOW. 24 lb on a 7 color with a blue and Green Spoon with orange ladder back. the 29 lb came on a blue/green/white spin doctor and a green meat rig down 58 ft. we lost another nice king on the 7 color rig near the boat in between the two we caught! Fished Father's Day morning 6:30 to 9:30 and went 3 for 3, all on a west troll with east winds. - 23 lb King in 95 FOW on a small blue/green spoon on a free slider with the rigger down 55. - 5 lb king in 120 FOW on a zombie apocalypse with rigger down 55. - 19 lb king n 115 FOW on a small blue/green with a red eye spoon on a free slider with the rigger down 55. We marked lots of fish and bait from 75 to 120. Water was 50 on surface all the way to 60 feet down. Fresh Salmon for Father's Day dinner! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  14. Fished Sunday evening from 6:30 to sunset. Went 7 for 9. Largest were 21 & 22 pounds. Consistent action the whole trip. Headed south in 70 to 85 then came back north. All spoons with blue and green was the ticket. Rigger down 55, slide diver back 100, 10 color, 150 cu. surface was 50 degrees, 47-48 down 60. The cooler was full!   15. Fished 7:30 to noon and went 2 for 2 with a 20 # and 17# King in the box. Caught them about 9:30 and 10:00 when the sun came out. The small one came in 158 FOW on a free slider with the rigger down 58 on a small zombie apocalypse from GL Tackle (White/red/green). The 20 pounder came in 178 FOW on a rigger down 65 on a larger version of the same spoon. Both had bellies full of alewives although I did not mark many fish or bait pods all morning.   16. Fished 8:30 to 12. Went 2 for 2. Laker in 52 FOW on a blue green spoon down 50 on a rigger. 15 lb King in 62 FOW on a wonderbread spoon on a free slider with the rigger down 50.   18. Fished out of GH this morning. Went 0 for 1. Had a rip on a 300 copper in 122 FOW with a green coyote flasher and a blue/white fly. The radio chatter indicated no one as doing well although green flasher/flies seemed to be the key. Water was generally below 50 deg sdown 60 feet in most areas.   19. Fished 6:45 to 12:30. Went 2 for 2 with a 22 pound king in 120 FOW on a 300 copper with a green/white 8 in coyote flasher and a blue white fly at 7:45 am followed by a 7 pound Steelhead in 134 FOW on a 225 copper with a large blue/green splatter back plug. Marked fish all over but no bait. Surface temp was 71 and it varied at 80 feet down from 60 in 120 FOW to 45 degrees on 160 FOW. The king was a fighter and took 39 minutes to land! Fished 6:15 to 11:00 and went 2 for 3. - 12 lb King on a purple/yellow/dots spoon down 75 in 148FOW. - 14 lb Lake Trout on the same rigger in 142 FOW. - Broke a 25 lb flouro leader on a big fish in 148 FOW on a 300 Copper with an 8” Luhr Jensen green/spots coyote flasher and a green/white fly.   25. Fished from 6:15 to 11:30. Caught a 10# king on a blue/white spin doctor and green/white fly down 50 in 124 FOW on a SE troll and a lake trout on a silver/green spots spin doctor and a blue/silver with yellow spots whirlygig on the bottom in 125 FOW on a NW troll. Both came straight out from GH. The fog rolled in about 7:15 and stuck around most of the morning! Water was 62 on the surface and 45 down 60 feet!
