  1. U betcha:)

If it's a Walleye tournament the Saginaw Bay RULES. One suggestion if we do go for walleye please let us run crawler harnesses, even if they must be pulled behind a Stinger Spoon.:) Give em meat, and even people unfamiliar with the area will catch fish. The harnesses will produce even when spoons and cranks do not.

I think that would be a good idea Frank, that time of the year you can almost catch them on anything, plastic, steel, meat........

  2. For some reason i cant edit my ad........

I sold the boat sometime ago and the buyer had an emergency in the family and i bought the boat back, so that being said it has to go immediately i have a contract on another boat...

Lets talk the price is real flexible !!!!!!!! It has to go!

  3. Well first of all caz how big of a ham are you smoking... The reason i ask is because the theory i've been taught is 4hrs to 1# soaking in the brine....

And go and get yourself a smoking net (or whatever you call it)to put the ham in and let it go, we usually keep our heat/smoke temp in the 180 to 190's .......

  4. P5080369.JPGI have to sell her to make room for my other one.. She is a 1985 221v

  5. Good job Frank glad to see someone else is getting them, we have also been

doing excellent this past week we boated over 85 just this week, i guess you

would call it pre-fishing for the tournament this Saturday out of Hoyle's.

Give me a hollar the next time your coming down we will get together and fish my treat.......

  6. WTG Tony. Time to replenish the freezer. I'll bet you cheeked every one of them.:)

Yes i did cheek everyone of them Frank. I'm thinking by this weekend, where we fished is going to be "hot". Come on down and fish with us. Going to try spoons this weekend tho we have a tourney in May. Got to keep fishing:grin:

  7. We went out last night at 10:30 or so and set lines and fished till 1:00am

We started out running everything tight to the boards with no avail. So we switched up and reset lines and that seemed to be the ticket. The firetiger rapala #11 took 4 at 75ft back, and then the clown rapala #11 picked up 5 for us at 90 back of the port side.

With all the lures we had in the box only 2 seemed to produce (go figure).

But all in all it was a fun night altogether calm seas and warm temps.. Hello Spring.....

    4-22-07

Left the launch at 6:45 went back to the same area the night before working the same program in 9-11fow and NOTHING, stayed there for about an hour and pulled lines and moved.

Dropped down at the new spot. Started setting lines my brother got the one side set on port, moved to starboard and started setting, looked over to the other side" fish on" it seemed to be a nice fish relled it to the net nice 5 or so lbr. That was the only fish for about an hour.Switched up the spread to some longer leads from 85 ft to 135 feet back from the board. Then all hell broke loose, we had 3 on the port side and 2 on the starboard side with only 3 of us in the boat. "What a chinese fire drill". And manage to land all but 1 of the fish. Got things set back out washed lures for an hour or so and nothing.

Pulled up and headed in at 11:00 or so. All in all pretty good moring no problems at all .........The boat ran flawless and was great to be out on the big water again..

If anyone goes out be carefull there is a lot of floating wood and debris in the water...............

  8. Well....I thought I was going to do some fishing today. As I got near the end of the channel, I looked at the temp gauges. Both gauges were above 200  I got to the end of the pier and increased the throttle to see if the temp would go down, and it did. Anything faster than trolling speed, and it runs at 145.

I will be pulling the boat back out and changing both water pump impellers. I knew I should have done this before the boat went in the water. What was I thinking?[/quote

Before you do that change the sending unit on them, it might save you some time.My boat was doing it too, and all i did was change the sending unit. Just my $.02............
