My question is to all that are signed up is , would you be able to fish Sunday if saterday is canceld , please reply to this post.

  3. Fishing was a little better for us yesterday from what its been the past week.

I left the dock around 6ish and set up a little north in 80 fow with good friends Any Minute Now and Jeff were we went on a ssw troll. When we hit 100 fow the screen started to show a little promise with some good hooks and scattered bait around 60 down. We continued on that line out to around 170 were we turned back to the s.e. and ended the day just south of Saugatuck around noon going 7 for 12. The box consisted of 5 very nice coho , a king and a laker. All fish were in the 5-8 lb range.

Sorry for the lack of pics in this report but when we got back to the slip my phone was dead, but here is a list or things that took hits.

    1. Silver Streak Wart Frog on a 150 copper
    2. Mag Silver Streak Green Muffin on a rigger down 57
    3. Blue Dolphin Mini Silver Streak as a free slider on the rigger at 57 ft
    4. Silver Streak mag Slap Shot on a 250 copper "HOT" We ran this on both 250 coppers and it took 6 bites5

As a side note the best water by far was 130-140 this area took all but 3 bites, SOG was 3.2 and 2.9 at the ball .

Hear is a pic. of the slap shot.

Just as a side note this is the second year we have done this and it is for a great cause, heck, now one wants there fishing area filled with gill nets. And its a great time and last year it was nearly one with 5 HUGE SHEEP HEAD!:thumb:.

This was another fun event, fishing was a little on the slow side but I think a great time was had by most.

If you notice, the big fish "side bet", for the year is still Holding at 15.2 lbs by team Reel Happy. Ben ding rods won big fish for the week but had not donated a Spin Dr yet, so his very nice 17.1 lb king could not count for the end of the season prize.

With that said, I would like every one that participated to thanks "Morgan Tackle" on Face book for there generous donation, every one got to take home a 200 ft roll of copper. And as a side not our next event will be in Holland on June 20, and the sponsors for this event will be "Lake Shore Tackle and Fire Arms" and "Big Weenie Brand".
