We had 10 teams last Saturday and man was fishing tough for most. hear is the results.

There are a few changes to this this time such as , the season big fish leader has now gone to team Outa Line with a very nice 17.3 lb king.

And the season points leader board made a few changes. Here is the top three , I will post the entire leader board tomorrow as I ran out f time.

Im gunna try to make it, what were the results from this saturday? I had to leave to get to a grad party.

Ok , its looking like this will most likely be changed to this Saturday ,"July 18" , unless there is a more people that speak up that are against it.

The decision will be made by 6 am tomorrow so that I can get the sign up list started.

What two dates are we talking about? August 11 is a Tuesday - is that supposed to be August 1, or August 15? (Just for clarification)

I could probably do August 1st, 8th, or 15th.

August 8 is the one in question and it would be changed to this saterday, July 18

Please only comment to this if you have fished this this season.

I have had multiple team comment on changing the date of the August 8 event because of conflict with the Saugituck way Point tournament. How many Capt. That have fished it this year would like to see it moved to this Saturday , July 18, that is the only date that works with my schedule and I'm afraid the August 8 event will be a big problem.

Looks like the lake will be a nice as it gets , so we are a go for the morning.

Saterday morning is looking good as on now, and this is the last event for South Haven this season.

This is the official sign up thread for the July 11 event , it will be held in South Haven, and Pyles Port Hole in south Haven will be the sponcor.

Just a reminder that the Kids and Kings tournement is this Saturday in Holland, this is one of the largest kids tournements on Lake Michigan , for a full set of rules and to sign up you can go to www.hollandsteelheaders.org

Why do you think the fish bit on the second pass but not the first

We took fish on both passes, but only on the sw as in the 210 degrees , nothing coming back to the NE..

Had a great morning on the water with the exception of finding out that my radio would not transmit. Thanks to "Bendin Rods" for announcing the start of the WMFL it was a great help.

Any how, I took off from the start and headed NW to 90 fow and set in on a 210 degree troll and started seeing good marks and a little bait and takeing bites in 120 fow ,we followed that line out to 170 fow were we ran out of marks and bites . We turned and followed it back with nothing and turned again in 120 , back on to a 210 degree troll and started to take bite as soon as we spun around. We made this lap 2 full times and ended up 11 for 11 with 5 lake trout and 6 kings.

Best speed was 2.7 at the ball.

Now that we have 3 events in the book for this season, I thought I would post the standings so far.

Bendin Rods is in the lead for the big fish side pot wich is up to 9 Spin Drs as of now with a 16.0 lb king,.

And Screamin Seamen is holding the spot so far for the lowest score for the number of events fished.

This is still any ones game with 3 more event to come, so with that said the next event is July 11 back to south haven, Pyle's Porthole will be the sponsor of that one.

This was a great event with lots of participation. We had 22 boat in this event here are the results.
