i will be in southhaven with heavey actoin on saterday for the south haven steelheaders powder puff and saugatuck on sunday or monday or both with rdfishin and his wife

well here how it gos ,i took fishinmachine out yestday after finding out that work was very slow and set line around 9:30 am in 150 a little south and went west to 190 with only 1 king and a nock off {but marked a lot of fish} so we turn and went east back through the track and thing started to go we worked the area till around 2 pm and took 5 kings and 2 coho , then made 3 long passes though the same area with nothing so this time we went all the way to 235 and when we hit 200 it took off again we ended up 14 for about 18 releaseing 4 smaller kings at the end {4:30} as they came all at the same time as we where pulling lines total catch for the day was 10 kings 3 to 17 lbs/ 2 coho around 3 lbs and 2 steelhead around 5 lbs hot set ups where mi dolphin 75 down on a rigger /org. killer on a 1/2 cor /clown down 45 on a out and down /freakin veggies on a full core/and a craigs x-mas on a 1/2 core {all stingers in stingray size} and a east troll was the best at 2.7 to 2.9 on the gps:grin:

they are fun to catch ,mike this fall on one of the slow mornings trie running number 3 j-plug the sheep head loveem

we fished until about 1:30 larry was geting kinda tired after that by the way the last few came write at the end of the day in 215fow it went dead for use from 11:30 to 1:00 and then it took of again

well i took heavy action and a freind of his out today and did good 13 for 15 9 king 2 to 12 lb ,2 browns around 5 lb, 2 steelhead 4 and 8 lbs and a shaker that was let go ,we set lines in 150 and went s.w. to 215 and back the best set up was a nbk stinger down 70 on a rigger and a freakin veggies on a full core these each took 3 fish also a orange killer on a gold blank on a half core with a 4 oz. Dive Bomb, and a blue dolphin on a rigger down 50 these where all stinger spoon in stingray size and the best trolls where sw and nw

nice job guy we did well in saugatuck also ,you should trie and get use on the radio some time

you can get a coler chart of most spoons and flys from the sport shops i think this is what you meen

this is going to make it VERY HARD TO GO FISHING EVERY WEEKEND THIS YEAR at 3.49 a gallon and up i only live 20 min. from the lake and 5 miles from work this equals out to 100 plus $s a week and that do,s not count the wifes car

sorry for the confusetoin but the questoin is bassed on wire NOT BRAID, witch brand is better mason or g-fly do to the large price differance {mason 44 dollers for 1000 ft and g-fly 27 dollars for the same amount} also on the color silver or coffey colerd witch is better also thanks tangled mess for the reply that is what i was looking for

heres what my questoin is, im setting up a pair of wire rods and was woundering if i should use silver wire or the darker colerd stuff also i seen big difference in price 1000ft or g-fly wire is around 25 dollers and mason is like 40 thanks terry:)

i went out today with glf and his 2 boys and it was very tough wind blowing 20 plus out of the east made it hard to control the boat and we marked very few fish maby 10 from 7 :00am til 2:30 pm we went north a little ways and setup in around 80 fow and went out to about 130 water temp out there was only 42 on the surface and to make a long store short we ended up 1 for 2 it was on a full core in 45 fow on a feakin vegi stingray and turned out to be a 18.5 lb king full of shad no alwives and the lost one was on a org ,green crush dream weaver as a free slider down 40 over 50 hope its a little better tomorrow:no:

nice job guys me dad got a nice walley like that about 4 years ago it was in the same spot that you said and 31 inches and 11.2 lb now its on the wall it was also the first ever fish on the DIRTY DOG

hey rich i will be there on saterday morning and post a report when i get in i think they will bite if we can find them

i may eather surch for browns or lakers becouse grand haven is more like 15 mile {is this write hit man or is my guess wrong} and the dirty dog only cruises at 20 mph thats 2 hours of runing

nothing great today went out and set up for browns in close a little south of the river water temp was around 50 but not a fish to be found so around 8:30 we started out west and started to mark some fish in about 50 fow and ended up 3 for 3 all nice lakers from 10 to about 12 lbs and all released temp out past 35 ft was 43 and stayed that way all the way out to 100 fow the fish came on a mixed veggies stingray also a blue dolphin stingray and a green crome spin dr. and liquid sunshine stong flie

not on the beds yet but there in about 4 to 6 fow and we gotem on a black nat with red tail with a spike on the end about 3 ft under a bobber
