  7. I run dual marine batteries with a switch, never have any issues. I know that when I charge my batteries I have the switch to all and it charges both , with onboard charger I would think you would have to have a dual bank charger, but I am not 100percent on that.
  8. Man I really wanted to see dr's on a ship! And you walking down a stairway to grab a hit! You are lucky I gota do dishes just to go fishing, then when I want/need something new I always get the u really don't need that line, then find myself con'd into buying her something!
  9. Ok I want to build 2 or 3 holder rod trees, I don't have the money to buy them. My plan is to use 2" od aluminum tubing. The base will be 4" by 6" aluminum with a smaller od to fit into main tube, then I will drill holes to pin in or out position. Now where I am stumped isto how to cut the holder to fit flush against the main tube for welding and what angle to have holders coming off the main tube. Should top holder angle towards bow of boat? When everything is done ,and I'm done fishing with them this fall I plan on having it all poweder coated. Any help or tips would be greatly apreciated!
  10. That's what I thougt, I mounted it same spot as my old one. I figured what the hell everything that's fun is goin to kill u, driving to fast, drinking, and now fishing and talking on your vhf. I just thought it was crazy and I have never seen a boat with it mounted corectly. So I'm stickin with how it is.
  11. I just installed my new cobra vhf and skakspere 8ft antenna, as I was reading the manual it has a warning to not be in a 10ft radius of antenna when transmiting. Now I only have a 18 1/2 ft boat so I was wondering if I should be worried about radiation from this, and how you guys and where you guys mount your antennas. I don't really want to look like a jackass with my antenna raised on a 8 ft pole then the 8ft antenna. I have it on the gunwhale about 3 ft from my face on console side. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!
  12. Thanks I tried replying the other day but clicked report instead haha, yea my buddy has a cigerette boat called ballzdeep and I loved it and I knew I could use that name on a fishing boat and not seem like a perv

  13. Ok one of my favs! Stuffed burgers! hamburger, onion, mushroom, feta or creamcheese or both! Two thin patties add ur stuffing, mine cream cheese ,feta cheese, pepperjack cheeses and onion, mushroom and bacon, in small amounts! Then press two patties together, salt and pepper well ,grill on foil low heat cook slower and they stayed sealed, when done I always top with french onion chip dip , but mayo ketup mustard and fresh lettuce is good too!

  23. Ok , what kinda okuma reels do you use? I am useing the convectors right now I like the cranking power with all the line out, but makes sence to not need one so powerful on smaller cores . What length copper would be good for september and august fishing? 150? 200? Thanks u guys for the info, I'm just getting into this addicting salmon fishing
  24. My fishing partner and I have a full, 7, and 5 core now, so if we want to run one out the back with no board can we only put as many colors as we want down or do we have to let all the core out? We are wondering this for later this month and september when the fish are shallower, with out have to spend another 300 bucks for a 3 or 4 color setup. Thanks in advance for any input
