  1. Port Clinton it is, Ill be moving the boat to Conneaut, Ohio, after I fish the spring bite in the western basin being its already there
  2. Finally found a Penn Yan 288 Predator in my price range, the seller took almost 30 % less than the asking price, cant wait to get it set up and fishing the waters of Lake Erie, There are some damn good buys on boats at this time if your not in a hurry and do lots of looking

Found a nice pod of walleye 74 FOW NW of Conneaut on Sunday, pulled 30 fish in a litlle over 4 hours, Kabooms 300 back on wire off big boards on 1 side, Renosky deep divers out 225 with 4 oz hung at 50 on mono, big boards on the other side, boxed 123 big perch first thing in the morning before we went looking for walleye

Took a few neighbor kids and thier Grandpap perchin out of Ashtabula on 04 July 08, looked inshore, found a few and the ran north, found a helluva pod of fish, just a tad over 2 hours we pulled 180 fish, went back on Saturday and did 150, closest boat was a mile away, dont be afraid to leave the pack if its slow

Myself, Crabass Jr, and 2 friends , went for a ride with Capt Ray, started fishing around 2 PM, pulled 103 yellow perch, had to move a few times, but ended up about 1/4 mile outside the wall, approx 50% of these tasty morsels were jumbos or damn near it, my ride is going in this weekrnd and hope to stuff the freezer with perch, before we have to haul ass and burn gas chasing walleye
  8. Just kidding Billy, I have the same boat Shu just bought, I use an average of 30 -40 gallons a day running 15 miles each way and trolling all day, and mine is just a single big block
  9. check the output at the main output wire with a digital multimeter, may be a bad guage, had almost the same prob last year, alternator was fine, guage was bad

  11. bill is in NE ohio about 5 miles south of the lake and Im on the OH-PA border about 30 miles s of lake erie
  12. Hey, Rich, why dont you come out and spend a weekend and do the central basin sometime in the summer, all you need to do is show up, you will get to see lotsa walleyes and perch beyond comprehension

  16. been in since late july, already trying to work a deal on a 29 Penn Yan and mine didnt even get dirty yet

Pulled 120 yellow perch today in right around 3 hours, made a 16 mile run to NE of Conneaut, 05 n 34.8 w, helluva gas bill, but well worth it for fishing that good, I personally have struggled to find any numbers of perch in front of Ashtabula, and from the folks I talked to at my marina, it was no different today for those that tried near Ashtabula

  20. This was filmed in Gates Mills , Ohio according to the first post before deletion, thankfully someone had copied it and reposted the new link, ODNR is aware of it and is investigating. I couldnt even afford the taxes let alone a home in Gates Mills, Pretty stupid to post a video of youself poaching

Saw you guys go by my boat on the way out, its a green and white Penn Yan, just downstream from the ramp @ ARU, Me and my son were taking off the cylinder heads when you went by, bent a pushrod on Wednesday, so i thought I better get the heads checked out, stop by next time your up, and we can swap some lies and drink some beer
  23. Make sure you use a metal canister filter, never use a glass or plastic filter in a confined engine compartment, also make sure to double clamp each connection
  24. I voye for yellow perch over walleye, you forgot about us warm water species guys
