  1. Well the walleye fishing could be no better on the east side of the bay. We limited 4 to 6 man limits 5 days in a row. We caught 25, 20, 25, 30, 30. The fish are very aggressive in the warm shallow water of the sand bar. I havent been able to post lately cause i donated my apple i phone to the saginaw bay gods last week, and my new phone is junk. The same as always firetiger, bright orange mixed with shartruece crawler harnesses trolling a little faster at 1.7 to 2.1. We are fishing the bar behind the island chain in 7 to 13 fow, starting to get close to north island. The junior deep diver thunderstick is producing fish along with a few select hot n tots, but crawlers are the main choice. Had a great fish with tim 61 on friday, from this site and hope to see him again soon. The offer extends to anyone that wants to fish sebewaing and the surronding areas and needs another man that knows the area. But best hurry the water temp is approaching 80 degrees and the fish are moving north in a hurry. EVERYBODY IS CATCHING LIMITS OF FISH AT THIS TIME.
  2. Well thanks tim it was a fun day of fishing and i hope to see you soon. If anyone from this site wants to head to sebewaing and slam some fish and needs an extra man i am more than happy to go and show you some of my walleye holes.
  3. Same deal, 3 man limit trolling the bar 10 to 13 fow of water, all the fish were about 17 to 23, still trolling firetiger crawler harnesses at 1.6 to 2.0. We caught a few fish on hot n tots and junior deep diver thundersticks. Had to work for them a little but all in all it was another good day. The fish continue to move north, as the water temp climbs.
  4. No No i mean my milk jugs and clorox bottles some are white and some i painted red
  5. I was out of sebewaing today as well and it was slow we only brought in 6 but we only fished for a short time, we lost quite a few trying to net them, im still breaking my girlfriend in on the whole walleye fishing thing. We got a 3 man yesterday and a 5 man on sunday but slow today, did you happen across any white or red jugs out there.
  6. That would be mine i have them scattered all over but if you find one be ready to catch fish
  7. Only brought 6 in this morning but they were real nice fish, things really slowed down today when the wind died and the sun got high and hot, the fish are on the move and starting to scatter a little
  8. Started off this afternoon where we caught 25 on sunday, only picked up a few, then trolled more than an hour without a fish, so we picked up my buoy and ran 2 miles to the north on the bar in the same depth of water. We caught 13 more fish to finish our 3 man off but wow what a difference that short run made. The funny thing about today was we didnt throw one smalleye back, we actually got into some nice 5 and 6 pound fish. Still trolling the firetiger crawler harnesses from 1.5 to 2.0 dragging the bottom on the bar but just a little more north in 11 to 14 fow. The bigger fish are really liking the nitro green crawlers.
  9. No within the 5 years, we did extremly well around big charity in late july and august last year.
  10. mE AND PRIORITY 1 WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT THE CHARITY ISLANDS. Just fish saginaw bay for now, the fishing is extremely hot, no need to try an fish the deeper water and longer runs. Why fish 40 fow when you can fish 10.
  11. Ya ive caught some of the biggest walleye of my life around the steples off big charity. We usually average constant 5 to 7 pounders, with a few 8 to 10 pounders mixed in, not many smalleye up there.
  12. Thats the truth, if theres water theres walleye
  13. Thats great, whack em an stack em. Some friends of mine are doing really good way north around big charity island right now. I usually dont leave the bay and head to the charities till the middle of july.
  14. well thanks, you should think about giving the east side a try, its not a far run from the other side, im about 2 miles east of buoy 2 way up on the bar. If you do decide to come over let me know, and ill fill you in on exacactly where im catching em.
  15. I think all the keepers are on my side of the bay, i havent heard many good reports coming from the west side since early in may.
  16. Ya theres alot of locals here that are just puttin the hammer down on the fish as always, we locals love our walleye, ive been fishing the bay for over 15 years in the same spots. This year ive noticed alot of new comers to the bay, which is a great thing. Ive talked to a number of guys whos first time on saginaw bay with limits of fish. Ive seen the number of boats fishing in my area more than triple in the last three years, which is a great thing cause the number of walleye has increased alot. I dont give the dnr credit for doing much of any thing in this state but they did a great job planting the walleye in the bay. Theres plenty of fish for everyone out there.
  17. It was definatley a blast, the 3 to 5 foot rollers kinda sucked but it was worth it, there were prolly 50 or so boats to the southeast of us. Alot of talk about people picking up fish on hot n tots but not that many, i just stick with what works, if its not broke dont fix it.
  18. You see my post from today, i was hittin you up on channel 68, but no response
  19. thanks, really want to get you up here on a good fish before the bay goes dead
  20. Wow today was fast and furious and big waves. We dropped lines at 10 this mornin and was back to shore at 5 with 25 in the box. We caught over 40 walleye total but almost 20 throw backs again. We were on the bar ranging in depths from 9 to 15 fow. The best action and bigger fish came in 10 to 11 fow right up on the bar. ALL the fish were caught trolling firetiger crawler harnesses, dragging the bottom, speed was 1.6 to 2.0. We were straight out and south of the sebewaing river.
  21. Putting together a fishing team eh, well you got 1 member for sure, whats the details
  22. I missed the unionville tourny today cause i was in the hospital with a migraine that completley laid me out, i tried to leave the hospital at 6 this morning in a daze trying to meet up with my fishing buddies, but the doctors stopped me. My buddies took my gps and headed to the walleye hole, they said it was 3 to 5 foot rollers, but they manged to catch fish, im not sure what place they got but ill be back on the water first thing in the morning.
  23. Koo thanks, i sure hope this weather clears up soon, im itching to catch fish, and i have a tournament tomorrow.
