  3. time for a change of senery DAY AT THE LAKE 7-12 started a 10am and run a short way to 35’ over a hump and back to 27 .worked it several times And took five nice beef cakes one was a dandy .close to 26â€.all were good quality green and gold beauty’s. it seems lately I’m stuck on five or six. but they came on cedar point ,clown pink and white and gold running 2oz inline out 55-65 back over 35’fow thru 27’ at 1.5 sog . tried bb and some worm burners and some HJ but no go .guys at the launch limited by 9:30 three of them .should have took a few notes for sure . there are a lot of fish there between 12-24’ graph was loaded. like Arnold said I’ll be back.Tom TOM
  4. SIX FOR TWO Went out at augers and run southeast 8nm to 28fow set with 2oz inlines on harnesses at 48 back and poped two fish on each run with cotton candy style blade color.was slow and after four hrs of picking away we ended with six a nice set of twins 22†and 23’ fatties.before we left we ran some cranks and picked up another one on a size 13 HJ in glass clown. TOM
  5. searching the deep, whew long day A long day searching for active fish. left dock at 8 and ran for 45min to spot x set a program of 2 oz bb and harnesses back 50-55 over 28-30 fow .a few juniors and slow lite biters took forever To get any, tried several combos methods, lengths and weights. even tried cranks for a while. a lot of marks on the graph from 12 down to 24’. None of our shallow setups would pop. Purple was the only real thing that would take one. we were about tapped and I switched everything to cranks .ended with five plus a loss keeper at the net ,with about the same amount of juniors. of all things a ¼ oz purple hot-tot with a 20’ lead and 1oz snap on weight back 110’ took the last fish it was a nice 5 lber. Could’ nt get anything to go, it was 70 surface temp there. Well it was blue bird beautiful as the day went on just about pair juice flat .try another day that’s fishing maybe tomorrow at the Charities TOM
  6. well same progam as yesterday, the fish were a little more frisky.27-31 fow 50-55' back 2oz bb munkey puke harness ,an pa's 3/4oz out 51 silver and blue .purple also.nicer fish two were 24" four over 20 and the rest nice eaters.1.7 was best on a ne troll.took three and half hours. see you on the water Tom:thumb:
  7. TEN FOR TWO Started a little late ,had issue with a alarm on boat again. And after getting it resolved we got on the water by 10:30 I would guess .Took a new crew guy out (RALPH) great bud. started out front of sebewaing but not having a single bump after a hour pulled and moved out ran to 22-24fow and set down again picked away at some little ones an two keeper it was slowww, after running a good deal of the tackle box cranks spoons harness I next put on a paâ€s 3/4oz looks similar to a erie deerie with a more beeds and spinners That lure took four nice fish of 20†in short time blue and silver with white. the next best bitter was a munkeypuke color harness that was second best .the pa’s I set 55 back over 28fow bang bang the monkey puke 51 back with a 2oz bb about a 5’ lead bang other harness to call out was a ceader point that took fish. a nice warm day and good fishing .I tried cranks ,tots, spoons then back to harness with bb .but that Pa’s lure I need to re look at that fish catching tool. ended with ten nice ones six where over 20-21†the rest were good keepers. 13. Double ticket sat at sebewaing ,started out front slowly at 13’ with one and a half oz BB with 15 back then out to the side w/inline boards on a crawler harness purple and gold .several small shakers an two keepers than we went hunting and ended up at 24’-27’ fow out on the east side of the bar from the channel. several marks on graph and fish. started picking them up one here and there .went with 2oz bb and same harness about 25-30 back and out to the sides .took a while to pick away at them .sun we were meet with tougher condition with a stiff wind and 3-4’rollers white caps waves ,we lost two at the net and had two shakers with a few tangles and called it a day ,just a little more bounce then we wanted, were done. come back another day. hope the summer stays like this for a while.
  14. GOOD JOB nice fish ,good luck on the shoulder.
  15. Still tweeking it Steve it was flat yesterday and with out bags was about 2.1 at 700rpm seem to sound loading. so I thur out the bags 1.7 and could power up some to 900rpm to 1000 and purred along good.was a little fast but, any other day with a ripple it would work out.still kind of getting use to it.kind of amazed we caught any thing.firetiger shad rap got hit several times but did'nt bring a fish in with it.mostly crawlers.slow
  16. out from sebwaing we motor down toward setset and setup pulling 2oz inlines and 25 back sending out the boards to the side with crawlers on harnesses.purple and white and charuee took some fish.at about 12 to 17'fow.we only ended with three .started at noon and going till about four was at a bright time of day to take any fish.theres fish out there to get many marks. grandson had a ball. TOM
  17. HI Frank ,hope to meet you.I have'nt been out much yet.going to get out soon.heard some good news over by sunset area.I'll be out

  18. Well it all started out with real good intentions , but waiting at the launch from 7:00 till 11:30 When we could finely get on the water and actually see beyond a hundred yards ,it was some pretty thick fog to cut. Started out running bb and crawlers at 27’ to 35’ following the contour from pt. Austin to crescent park varying the lead lengths ,then headed back toward the can changing up to bombers thunders sticks and spoons.to see if any silver wanted to play after only two good rips that’s was all we seem to come up with. the first rip was on a spoon harness that took the board right backward for a ways and was headed out .I couldn’t even slow him down with that ochoma 30 on a 7’ storm rod set up for wally that king just played his way off in no time after a minitue.the next descent rip Mark got and pulled in just a short ways before it got off. After that it seems like a very nice boat ride the rest of the time. Talk about a gorges day on the water there was only a small ripple and calm it was at least 2:30 before we could see around the two miles.no fish just a good washing of lures and boat today. We did get a better shake down run on the boat to see what I need to get tuned in for speed and familiar with. water was cold at 42.9 to 44 with hardly any marks on the graph. TURBO TOM
  19. have'nt been over there in a while, wondering what to expect.after some walleye ,an or some silvers.how would you set-up? we use to pick up silver out by the can ,back in the days.but I have'nt been over in four years so? where are they fishin for the wallys at? Tom
