  1. Yeah, this off season a lot of my Daiwa's are going into tuna tom, going to get the updated drags and some misc. parts. I do really like the Okumas, you seem to get a lot for your money. Not what the wife says though...:lol:

  2. If you have moss growing, then you need to kill it, kinda like mold. A strong solution of bleach and water in a squirt bottle will do the trick. If it keeps growing after that, then the carpet needs to go...

  3. I have a small boat, and my program is pretty simple. 2 riggers, 2 dipsys, and a core straight down the chute. This year I'll be adding a copper rig to the mix. With only 2 people at a time in my boat, when the fish start hitting, it's all I can handle anyway. Good luck!

  4. Got the first trip in for this year, DO NOT launch at Lee Point, unless you have a really small boat. First of all, the dock is not in. Second of all, the state needs to dredge!!! Good thing I brought the waders, plus it was like quicksand bottom. I had the Merc tilted all the way up as far as possible for water inlet, and still touched the bottom! Eagle read 1.5ft! It was a ways out there before you could put the motor down. No way a bigger boat coulds launch there.

    Now on to the report. No fish, fished 8-25 ft. around the island. Wind picked up and headed back to port. 6 TX-12's, pulling Storm thin fins, Rapalas, Rouges, and Rebels. Gorgeous day to be out. The best part? I told the wife to dress warm, on the water temp and land temp are 2 totally different things. I told her this 3 times.:rolleyes: Her reply? "I don't care, I'll be warm enough." Ok... By the end of the trip she had on my duck gear, nuff said

    !!!:lol::lol::D

  5. Just a quick question, how do you know when you have enough grease in them? I put the grease gun to them, and after 1/2 pump they won't accept anymore, so I think they are full? I've never had bearing buddies before, just the regular bearings which I hand packed...

    Also, do I need to take them apart to put/pack in new grease? The trailer is about 3 years old and I've never had the bearings apart or any problems. Thanks guys!
