Old thread, but I got my lights installed a few months ago, what a difference! Bright even during the daytime. Kinda like a "crisp super clear" red tail and stop lamps all the time. No more excuses from other motorist "not seeing" you.

They are in Frankfort as well. all of a sudden, 20lb. test looks like cable coming up.

I have a lot of "J's", my favorite is the Wonderbread Everglo, that thing rocks. But so does the Ace-Hi Canadian splatter back and all glo.

Yeah, this off season a lot of my Daiwa's are going into tuna tom, going to get the updated drags and some misc. parts. I do really like the Okumas, you seem to get a lot for your money. Not what the wife says though...

Nice rig!

Okuma convectors, CV20D, line counters.

Thanks Tony, got the reels today, there're great! Great prices, and fast shipping, can't beat that! Thanks again!

I've never had any problem, yet. I just move the core to the outside rod holder. If I have more than 2 fish on, then it get fun!

Hmm, they all seem to work well, but I like Bloody Nose, Happy Meal, and any of the Flounder Pounders, Carbon 14, something called Crabface?

If you have moss growing, then you need to kill it, kinda like mold. A strong solution of bleach and water in a squirt bottle will do the trick. If it keeps growing after that, then the carpet needs to go...

I have a small boat, and my program is pretty simple. 2 riggers, 2 dipsys, and a core straight down the chute. This year I'll be adding a copper rig to the mix. With only 2 people at a time in my boat, when the fish start hitting, it's all I can handle anyway. Good luck!

2 dipsys, 1 10 color lead, 4 rigger rods. don't laugh either.

sweet!

Big Jon for me.

Got the first trip in for this year, DO NOT launch at Lee Point, unless you have a really small boat. First of all, the dock is not in. Second of all, the state needs to dredge!!! Good thing I brought the waders, plus it was like quicksand bottom. I had the Merc tilted all the way up as far as possible for water inlet, and still touched the bottom! Eagle read 1.5ft! It was a ways out there before you could put the motor down. No way a bigger boat coulds launch there.
Now on to the report. No fish, fished 8-25 ft. around the island. Wind picked up and headed back to port. 6 TX-12's, pulling Storm thin fins, Rapalas, Rouges, and Rebels. Gorgeous day to be out. The best part? I told the wife to dress warm, on the water temp and land temp are 2 totally different things. I told her this 3 times. Her reply? "I don't care, I'll be warm enough." Ok... By the end of the trip she had on my duck gear, nuff said
!!!

Yeah, I took the snow tires off the jeep yesterday, and well, you guessed it. Snowed and sleeted today, stuck to the ground, sick of it!

Just a quick question, how do you know when you have enough grease in them? I put the grease gun to them, and after 1/2 pump they won't accept anymore, so I think they are full? I've never had bearing buddies before, just the regular bearings which I hand packed...
Also, do I need to take them apart to put/pack in new grease? The trailer is about 3 years old and I've never had the bearings apart or any problems. Thanks guys!

Wow, some really nice rigs there guys! After seeing those, don't think I'll post a pic of my little rinky dink rig!

Thinking about pulling the trigger for one of those Hummingbird 788ciHD, any pros and cons for this unit? Am going to pair it with the LakeMaster card for MI. A buddy told me that I'm fishing in the stone age without GPS and plotting, so...
Thanks guys!
