Nice fish, up in Milwaukee the fish are running real deep. I wish that that they were in that shallow.

Do you fish the east side of the lake or the west side.

Have fun!!!
I forgot what having fun was all about for a long time of combat fishing.
A nice calm day on the lake with a box of doughnuts can not be beat!

If you try to net a fish and it gets caught on the side of the net , roll the net under the fish . you will pull it head over and come up under it .

Back at it again last night with my son Nick. Left the harbor about 550 and took a ride north to 110 fow. trolled north north east , The last time we were out we finished and it was Nicks up to bat so we continued, 5 color fires and Nick pulls in a 14lb bruiser,Why he always gets a big fish I will never know, now its my turn Just a few minutes later Dandy Glo J plug fires , this guy didn't want to move and tried to stay deep all the time , very few head shakes . Truns out to be a 14 lb lake trout. My biggest yet. For the next hour about every fifteen minutes a rigger or lead core would fire. Had to hang up with my cousin fish on ! Finished the evening 7 for 9 , most fish caught in 110 fow riggers parked at 90 and 75. 2- 5 color and 2- 7 color. What worked were all glow plugs and spoons. Smallest fish came in at 8 lbs. A very successful night.

The best thing about them is you don't have to worry about charging them.Just what color to put in them.
-
I seen them at in Sturgeon Bay as well, they were J plugs. Let us know what you think of them.
Kyle they are awesome, the first time we were out and used them I only had it in the water for a short time be for the rigger went off. I have used yellow blue and green inside them so far.
Do you know where you saw them in Sturgon Bay?
-
Been picking up a lot on J plugs over here also, 110 feet 90 down.one fish even decided that it wanted to keep the plug for its self.
-
Has any ever seen or knows where I can buy a J Plug that you place a glow stick inside of , My son and I were out last night and lost one to a very large fish that kept the j plug when he broke the line.
These work awesome and I am down to one . Just bought 100 light sticks and would like to use them up .

Nice , I really like the second one.

Bill thats one heck of a fish , I know the feeling of having the fish take a lunge and get caught on the side of the net. Here is what has worked for me when that happens, if you have a really deep net this might not work but what you do is roll the net over and come right under the fish. Never grab the line like I did the first time , laid 2 fingers open real nice. needed to use the first aid kit .That I didn't' buy yet.
