  1. I hear the both of you! Everything that I come up with goes on my boat and it always seems that the simple ones do good. Then one day they will not work and some crazy color kills them. I gave my brother mistake flay and he slammed the coho on them and he has now told me for this year he wants me to make him 6 of them. He thought it was an Aqua fly but it had a little purple mirage in it and it made all of the difference! Thanks for the input guys I now kind of know what some of you are looking for. Ryan
  2. Thanks for the Info! Anyone else? You can PM me if you would like, I know some of you do not like to SHARE!
  3. So if you were going to buy a fly combo of 12 flies what colors of flies would you want in that combo? I am not looking for names of flies but more like white/baby blue, Yellow over Green, ect. something like that. I want to put a combo toghter and call it the GLF color combo to sell on ebay! So what colors would you guys look for? Ryan

At this time I think my AM side of things for the East side of Lake Michigan is covered but I am still looking for a couple of pro boats and then other teams from the other great lakes. 6. OK for those of you who have been interested in the sponsorship deal I believe I have found a source for Mustad hooks and will be switching to them. I will have to charge a little more but only like $.50 to .75 more and you will be able to choose either florucarbon or ANDE as the leader material and what ever length you want. Thanks for all of the comments, Ryan.

  12. The wonderbread does work in the low light. KJ I do like the idea of useing the blue beads. I only have the green beads and I know they glow bright. It is fun to try new colors and then when you catch fish on them it is a great feeling! I have already sold about 50 of the NBK flies. And everyone is telling me they did really well on them last year. yooperdad the blue and green dolphin flies that I tie did well last year.
  13. Try this for your tubing! It is $1 a yard for hard tubing. http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store/Trolling_Fly_Tubing.htm There is another supplier of material http://www.stanleysstingerflies.com/Materials%20Price%20List.htm Not the biggest selection but it is only $1.75 a yard! That is the cheapest I have found for just a yard. Once I started buying it 5 yards or more at a time I went to A-TOM-MIK! http://atommiktrollingflies.com/fly_tying.htm They have the most colors on the market today! I have started try to make flies in the looks of some of the best spoons on the lakes. Here are some of my attempts. This is based on the bloody nose spoon series! It is a real pain to tie! This is my natural born killer fly! This is based on the Wonder Bread Glow Spoon! 6 colors in a fly is a bit much but it works well in low light!
  14. I live in Indiana right on the southern tip fo Lake Michigan. He is full of Crud! (not the word I would have liked to use!) There would be NO flooding from the closer of the river! Again Mitch is thinking with his pocket! Can someone tell me where they saw this information? I would like to give My NOT Man Mitch a call!
