  1. My Facebook posts that are being put on the website are showing up under Lake Huron insead of Lake Superior. I've sent a few messages on Facebook but have not had a response. Can you change this, can can you contact someone else who can? I'd rather not have my reports showing up on the wrong lake!

  3. YESSS!!! Finally!!! She may be the only boat in the marina, but at least she's off the trailer before June! Looking forward to another great season on the water!

  5. A great tournament put on by the local volunteer Fire Dept. A lot of ice still on the lake, but Munising bay opened up last week and is basically ice free right now.
  6. Yeterdays satellite image showing the shrinking ice pack. Down to 15% coverage...but about 13% of it is right off Marquette. It's going...but not gone yet.

  9. "Relentless" normally hits the water mid-April. Last year was the latest date ever when we launched on May 1. This year... 12" thick ice sheets still floating in the marina, and 55% of Lake Superior is still covered in ice. We're a long way from doing any fishing this year...
  10. Lake Superior still over 60% frozen. Over 4 times the normal ice coverage for this time of year.

  12. -Captain Dan Keatings "Salmon School" will be held in Marquette, MI on March 23, 2013 at the "Citizens Forum Room" at the Lakeview Arena. -The room is located on the south side of the arena, inside the first door to the East of the YMCA. -Doors will open at 9:15 a.m., the School will start at 10 a.m. -Captain Dan will speak from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., with a 1 hour break at Noon for lunch.
