  1. 2006 HD2500 Duramax Diesel Quad Cab Chevy. Just bought it to pull Spoonfed to the big pond! i get 18 in town, 18 pulling the boat, and 23 empty on the hw.
  2. I run my spin doctor/fly rig down the chute and go from there. Its easy and fast to get out. We had a fish in the boat on that before i had everything else out, in the St. Joe Tournament
  3. looks like the north side of big sable point
  4. Also, every time you go to a resturant, grab some tooth picks. You will find a use for them with the twinkie rigs. Nail clippers work good to trim them when you pin the herring.
  5. Nice thread Steve. Now everyone should be able to run it, and catch fish!
  6. count me in ill let you guys finish behind me this time
  7. a friend of mine, who is a charter told me that it cost him $350.00 a day, thats before he turns the key on the boat. Thats insurance, slip fees, boat maint. and fuel.
  8. We came in right behind Team Fishdog! It must have been the banana that we didnt find until today! We ran to the north also, and dropped lines at 105'. We popped a nice coho right away on a spin doctor and fly down the chute. About ten minutes later we picked another one up on a cut rig. We then caught a nice laker on a Michael Jackson spoon on the bottom. The fishing died off there so we opted to run to 85'. We boxed another on a dipsy and a cut rig. We then proceded to loose the next three. We had alot of fun with the guys at barneys talking stratagy! We' ll get em next time
  9. we used some new cut rigs from steve in the tourney on sat and they produced 2 fish, i ran one clean and one off a dipsy
  10. Im fishing St. Joe, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Ludington, Manistee, and Frankfort
  11. I fished Friday and ran south, to Turtle Island. I fished in 10 to 12 feet trolling black and gold, and blue and chartruse shad raps.We went 10 for 10. The water was 2-3 ft and overcast with some rain. I fished a walleye tournament on Sat., and went to the same place. The people jigging were not catching any. I made three passes and didnt hit anything, so i ran to Little Cedar Point and changed lures. We came in second, with three fish. I switched to stingers on the riggers. I was running the ball on the bottom, pulling M.J. and O.J spoons. The winning team had 3 also, got beat out by 4 ounces. The weather was sunny and calm. Soon the bite will be on. Next stop St. Joe on the 29th!
  12. I will try to put a picture and some more info up today
