  1. Awesome Job and thank you so much for the report. I am headed out of Holland in about an hour and was desperatly hoping for a report to know maybe where to start and what the program was. I hope I can pick up where you left off and will report later this morning.
  2. Same water and time as you Zgrinder and we went 4 fer 8 with all hits after the sun hit the water except laker we threw back earlier in the night. All fish came on south troll and we ran 2.5 on the gps as rods seemed to have the right bend. I have no speed/temp at ball. North troll we ran 2.8-3.1 to get bend to the rods.....no hits going north. Probably 70% of night trolled south and ended up just north of Saug. North troll didn't feel right so kept swinging back to the south. 113 FOW Rigger 75 down meat rig with pearl flasher was most active rod going 2 for 4 landing a 18 and 12lb kings 115 FOW Wire Diver 130 back (dialed 1.5) glow spoon 10lb king. Ran meat rig on this until dark with a then changed to glow spoon. Beautiful night. Wife made me wrapped it at 10:15pm with good marks on the graph.
  3. Nice Job! Wife and I went 6/11 90-110 FOW a bit south of Holland piers from sunset to 10:30pm. Meat rigs at sunset on wire diver and downriggers then glow spoons on everything once it got darker. 65-50 ft down seemed the depth we found them. Lost a couple big fish behind boat. Maybe need to back the drags off a bit and add a few minutes to the fight.
  4. Was guessing on wt of fish in report. My 12lb guess was off a bit as this toad is only 26" long, 13.5lbs. In my 20+ yrs not sure I've seen on so short, wide and heavy. Been eating good. Prolly not uncommon but made me laugh.
  5. Set up straight out in 110 FOW and turned NW and worked north out of Holland and worked 120-150 FOW from 6pm to sunset with no action. 6 rods, all the usuals with no takers and just a few marks 100 ft down. Well after sunset....10pm?ish, meat rig 85 down on rigger lands a 15lb king. Few min later glow spoon on other rigger takes 12lb king 70 ft down. Both fish in 125 FOW. No complaints but was overall a very slow night and did not mark as well as I did Wed. Pretty good number of boats all working that 120-140 FOW. Saw the nets hit the water a couple times on other boats but not often. Another boat at ramp had 2 big kings. 2 other guys I talked to were skunked. Good luck everyone.
  6. Thanks for the report. I hope to be out tomorrow morning out of Holland. Netting 20lb kings alone……….fun!! Sort of.
  7. Glad you had a good evening and thanks for the report. Hope to get out more regular now thus summer so will share when I do.
  8. Fished solo Sat morning. Couldn't sleep so had lines in the water by 4:30am setting up in 65 FOW NW out of Holland and continued on NW troll as I set up all glow spoons on 2 riggers with sliders and a slide diver. HIt 90 FOW started marking bait and fish and started catching. 4 fish in next 30 min. Only ran glow spoons. Fshed 4:30am to 7:30am. 4:45 AM Slide Diver set on 3 out 135" with a 100' lead Blue Jeans 8# King 90 FOW NW troll, Rigger main line at 55' 6lb King 95 FOW NW troll, Rigger slider with main at 65' 6lb King 5:15 AM 100 FOW NW troll, slide diver 135 back Blue Jeans 10# King Hit 125 FOW no marks or hits so trolled back same trail SE with no hits, still good marks Turn around at 90 FOW and make a 2nd run on the same NW troll that produced the 4 earlier, now its about 6am 100 FOW Slide Diver 135 back Green Jeans, 13 lb king 110 FOW Double on the riggers 2 throwback 3lb kings. Both on sliders with main line at 55 and 65. Fun morning catching, netting in the dark. Wind was more than expected so boat control added some fun too. Got home in time to make breakfast for my wife. Good luck everyone!
  9. This report is for 9/4 evening
  10. Out of Holland headed south set up 3mi shy of Saug in 60’ at 5pm. Trolled to 90’ with no hits but loads of bait and bottom marks. Headed toward pier heads and picked up a couple in 60’. Both rigger fish near bottom with white flasher green fly short lead on fly. Ended up in 40-45’ with continual marks and action going 9 for 11. Most in the 10-13lb range and a couple smaller. For us, had to be a flasher fly to get hit. Js and spoons were dead. Meat rig went 2 times. 3mph troll and near bottom. We were only boat in tight. Great night.
  11. lol. You need a bigger cooler!!! Thanks for the report.
  12. Started 5pm in 80’ and trolled to 150’ and back with nothing and very few marks. Back in 80’ when sun set had a dipsy meat rig 150’ back take off. Wife reeled in her biggest ever. 24lb male that almost spooled us. Fished till 10:30 with the glow program with 2 more rips but neither stayed hooked more than 5 sec. 1-1. Guys at ramp had 7 fish in 130’ range and another 3 fish out in 150’
  13. Very slow 4pm -until sunset only having 2 knock offs. As the sun hit the water we had a triple going but only landed 1 Dipsy Knock off: Green Flasher/Green Fly 200 back in 150 FOW Rigger Knock off: Meat Rig 75 down in 165 FOW Lost at boat: Meat Rig 75 down in 105 FOW. Guessing 8lb Coho as I could see it and the way it rolled and fought Lost after 5 min fight: Dipsy with Bloody Nose Dalmation Moonshine in 105 FOW 170' out Caught 18lb ????? king: didn't weigh it cuz had crap laying everywhere in the floor of boat after 3 rods went off. Green Moonshine spoon with black spots 65" down in 105 FOW Great night with my wife. Sunset was amazing. Radio talk was hit/miss it sounded with a few reporting skunks, another with 2 for 3 and a few others with 1 or 2 only. Guy reported 80 feet down the temp was 52 degrees and most boats were settled in the 110'-150 FOW. Fair number of bait pods marked but only a rare fish mark for us.
