  1. One landed is better than none!

Sorry for the late report. I went out of Holland with a friend from Texas yesterday morning (6/16 am). Fished from 5:30 - 9 am.

Similar results. 2-3. Ran all glow spoons early, switched out one to SD and meat rig later in the morning. Did several c spoon color changes. Ran 10 color, 300 weighted steel, 2 high divers and one rigger. 300 weighted had all the bites. Fished 65-150 fow. All bites in 70 fow range.

    1. 7:00 am, smaller fish , lost it half way to the boat, 300 weighted steel, mag ms flounder pounder

    2. 7:20 am, same 300 setup, landed and released small lake trout.

    3. 7:40 am: 10 lb king, same 300 WS with the same flounder pounder.

Stopped at the DNR station later in the day to grind the guts. Talked to three boats. No one had more than three fish.

  5. I was thinking it might kick up this morning and decided not to go out.
As Zgrinder says you were rewarded for the effort!

I did fish for walleyes a little while this morning which yielded a bunch of weeds and nothing else. Last week I caught some nice size walleyes.

Double bite on the slider is a new one for me!

    Good work Little Boat.

  6. Great job Ed!

I was out solo this morning too. Went 2-5 with a couple of self inflicted misses.

Started in 110 fow. Lost two close to boat on a rigger down 50 ft with Shelly Snack spoon. Decided I need to sharpen the hooks. Then, of course, landed a shaker on the same, now sharpened Shelly snack.

Moved inside to Saugatuck piers and got a 9 lb Coho, 26 fow, 5 color, green jeans mag uv.

One last miss on 5 color, 30 fow, Brads cut plug.

Absolutely beautiful morning on the lake.
