  1. Nice work and a good dinner!

I was out solo this morning too. Didn’t exactly light it up. Nothing all morning until 10:30 am. Trolled 85 FOW out to 160 FOW back in to 66 FOW before I got a hit. Threw meat rigs, glow spoons, FF, and plugs at them. Had several looks and no biting as you did littleboat. Kept switching up the presentations but didn’t trigger bites. Finally at 10:20 I went up in the water column with a 7 color to see what the high marks were out of temperature.

    1. 10:30 am: Small Lake Trout, 66 FOW, released, 7 color, mixed veggies spoon.

    2. 11:00 am: same 7 color and spoon, small sheepshead. 63 FOW.

    3. 11:30 am: same 7 color and spoon, 60 FOW, big sheepshead, fought for a bit , then like dragging in a log.

At that point I figured out the high marks were not worth pursuing and I called it a day.

Gorgeous day but a bit hot.

Probably my last trip this year due to other plans. It was a great year of fishing thanks to the insights and intel this group gave me all year.

    Many thanks.

  2. Fished 6:45 am -10:00 am. 100 fow -145 fow. 110-125 was best.  Beautiful day on the lake.

7:00 am:  miss, rigger down 70 ft, 115 fow, mag ms green jeans

7:20 am:  6 lb coho, 300 WS, mag ms flounder pounder, 115 fow

8:05 am: miss, 300 WS, flounder pounder, 125 fow

9:10 am:  9 lb king, 10 color, dragon slayer SD with hypnotist fly, 110 fow

Cold water was well below the 300 WS and 10 color depths.  Out of temperature presentations took all the hits. Couldn’t get anything to go 80-100 ft down.

  3. Slow bite this morning but a beautiful day on the water. One king at 7 am, then three hours of trolling until 10 when I went to pull lines. As I picked up the 10 color pole a coho hit it. Called it a day then as I busted off the hook removing it.

    1. 7:00 am, 6 lb king, 127 FOW, 10 color, bloody nose spoon

    2. 10:00 am, 6 lb coho(dinner), 10 color, chrome two faced SD with green fly, 139 fow

(no bites on Rasta goose, ,ms mag green jeans, plugs, dancing anchovy, flounder pounder, 300 WS, 225 WS, riggers from 40 to 100 ft down with sliders)

Fished 90 fow out to 140 fow, back in to 80 fow, and back out to 150.  Marked the most fish 125-140.
