Pontoon boat fishing

Good morning,

 

I used to fish Lake Superior with a 17' V-hull but moved and sold my boat. I now live in Montana and can fish kings on Fort Peck. I need to get another boat. Does anyone here fish salmon off a pontoon boat? If so, how do you like it?

I have a tri toon and fish salmon regularly on Lake Michigan with a 12 rod set up. Super comfortable and do pretty well.(only way to get the wife to fish with me )

Check out Black Pearl Charters in Holland,Mich.  They have lots of experience. I believe their pontoon is 28' and they catch salmon.

Its set up with many rod holders, planer boards, downriggers, dipsies, lead core, copper, etc.
