Paulywood
Do you just want a mechanic to look it over or do you want a survey?

Paulywood
Well, if it's fiberglass, older and/or has been slipped, a survey is a good idea. It really sucks to spend the money on a boat only to find out later it isn't seaworthy. I can't remember the name of the surveyor I used but I know he is a charter captain out of Grand Haven. I'm sure someone here will know his name and be able to recommend a mechanic for you. It's out of my area. But good luck.
