Beckman has a 12' handled for their nets. Extends from 8-12'. Pricey, but worth the money IMO. Nice heavy duty aluminum.

Im a big fan of either Shimano Talora roller rods, or the Daiwa Heartland roller rods with swivel tips. Both sport Aftco guides. Other options include the twilli tip as mentioned or JR custom rods makes a titanium guided rod i believe thats for wire. Also, we have Eyefull custom rods on the site. Might want to talk to Tony and see if he can fix you up.

Nice work Terry and crew. Glad to hear the boat is running good for a 2011 salmon and trout beat down!

Sounds like some fast paced fishing. Lots of fun...keep it up.

I love the "old school" pictures and how they're actually prints. Forgot how quickly we've become used to electronic pictures and how east they are.
Nice fish too!
I agree.
....and i dont know about anyone else, but i find that i actually print very few photos. Just fire up the puter to look at em. Just be sure to back them up or your memories of a lifetime can be lost if your computer takes a dump. I had a scare one time and ive backed them up ever since. I got lucky and mine were recovered, but it coulda been worse. Thats one good thing about a photo hosting site. You can have your pics stored there in addition to an external HD, on your computer, burned on a CD, or on a large GB memory stick.

I agree. Id consider going to copper as well once you start getting out that far. Sink rates and less line out are precisely the reason why. I just got some of the 32# Blood Run Copper and i can tell you its MUCH more supple than other coppers ive used.

Wish i lived closer. You boys keep whackin on em

Your crazy not to fish wire if you ask me. Wire dipseys are fish catching machines. Probably the hottest rods in our boat!

I read that yesterday. Really somethign isnt it.

Youll want a long shaft motor and youll still need to be careful when mounting it. In larger swells it may cavitate if you go too high.
-
Nice catch...keep on em
