  1. Location is not required in posts. This is his choice on whether or not to post his location. The Big Red Classic is going on this weekend out of Holland. I would not want to share my spot with 150 boats?

I am happy just seeing the depths he is fishing and the depths the fish are being caught at. Once you know the depths, you should be able to duplicate the pattern up and down the coast, unless he is fishing over structure.

There have been no depths posted!?!?! In other words, no FOW. So why post? There also was no hesitation for Phil to tell the 150 other boats how he was doing over the radio.

  2. . . . it's the 3rd day in a row you have not posted your location!?!? Why post if you are goig to leave out that important detail?

We went 3/4 - (2 @ 12# + 1 small King) in a short trip this morning. Fished 80 - 125 FOW, ~2 miles south of Holland. Blue & orange lures toook 2 on the riggers @ 50 down and the another on the full core with a Flinstone Bloody Nose.

  3. Great day on the water and thanks to Tom & Bud for competing with Team Hollandpiper. It was an awesome feeling moving out of the bottom of the standings.

  4. 1. Rich, once again you did a terrific job with the league this year. Your hard work makes it enjoyable for all.

    2. Jim & Bev, my deepest gratitude on the tow in from Lake Michigan. It was a long 3 hours, from pulling lines until we made it back to Fisherman's Landing. You are awesome. ;)

    3. 30pounder for the donation to the last place prize. My misfortune was a blessing in disguise. If I made it to the weigh-in with my 3 kings, I would have finished ~8th and lost out on last place.

    'Til next year,

    Alexander

  5. I was working to try to get the flies going again. I never got a hit on a fly(again). I was trying them behind dipsys and a full core. Any advice as to what I'm doing wrong that I can seem to get fish off of flies?

SG. . . I've never heard of running flies off of core!?!?! Spinnies and flies are mostly use on dipseys, but I have had them produced on riggers also. With that said, they have never been the top producer for me, but here are some resources:

Also, you s/b adding some J-Plugs to your arsenal this time of year.
