Lol, good luck. Post a good report like u always do so we have a place to start Monday am. 

After the owners (my oldest son & wife) and my granddogs leave tomorrow morning to return to Colorado, we have to finish cleanup of their house on 312 Clinton to get ready for first renters of the season on 19th.

It's rented most of the summer so won't be able to spend many days here this summer.

Been in SoHa since last Fri n leave this Sat; working on son's house with him.

This morning Katn n I walked the dog by south beach n saw dozen or so boats out. Boy was I jealous. Looked like they were working 50' or so area.

We r planning on going out Monday. Will run like last time but will set in 50 n head SW.

I checked out Kal Haven Bait n Tackle this am, nice. Has a little of everything.

i had heard this from someone here before but owner said he will have minnows available via vending machine very soon. City is setting him up with a place n power for the machine. I assume it will be at the restroom building.

In SoHa all week but working on son's house. City Eng said as soon as they can get water n sewer hooked up fish cleaning station will be open. In the meantime you can use city's northside marina cleaning station.

Just call the manager and she will unlock it for you!

Will provide an update when I get a chance to go over there!

Went to the site. The spin n glo comes with the fly, correct?

From there site looks like std distance of 18" from dodger to spin n glo/fly combo.

They posted on FB yesterday that they will have tackle for big lake fishin. N I just called n Monday they will also have red label meat!

Felt so good to get into some kings especially early in the season.

The spoons that did best were jagger bombs n mixed veggies.

I copied my report from one I made on another web site where I'm not supposed to use spoon names, etc.

South Haven 4 28

Short Report:

Me, Bob Knaak n Dimitri were out. 1-2s down to flat calm from SW

7 for 7, 5 kings n 2 lakers. 2 kings were dinks we threw back. kings were in 6-8 lb range, nice fighters.

fish came in 65 -79 fow straight out  n south of piers. 40' rigger main line took 3 on red/or/gr/sil spoon and similar spoon on 225' copper that took 2. 

lakers came on tin can dodgers bouncing bottom with gr spin n glos in 70-80 fow; lot of lakers in that area.

We did  not go deep to target Cohos.

Saw 3 or 4 nice big bait balls in that area.

found some fresh gobies in boat cooler few minutes ago when I cleaned it out; probably from lakers.

Nothing on 150 copper or 3 & 5 & 8 colors.  

Great day on the lake and met two more great guys.
