We took fish on both passes, but only on the sw as in the 210 degrees , nothing coming back to the NE..

Had a great morning on the water with the exception of finding out that my radio would not transmit. Thanks to "Bendin Rods" for announcing the start of the WMFL it was a great help. Any how, I took off from the start and headed NW to 90 fow and set in on a 210 degree troll and started seeing good marks and a little bait and takeing bites in 120 fow ,we followed that line out to 170 fow were we ran out of marks and bites . We turned and followed it back with nothing and turned again in 120 , back on to a 210 degree troll and started to take bite as soon as we spun around. We made this lap 2 full times and ended up 11 for 11 with 5 lake trout and 6 kings. Hear is a list of what worked. Forgot to take them when I left the boat. But here are a few of the catch. Best speed was 2.7 at the ball.

Now that we have 3 events in the book for this season, I thought I would post the standings so far. Bendin Rods is in the lead for the big fish side pot wich is up to 9 Spin Drs as of now with a 16.0 lb king,. And Screamin Seamen is holding the spot so far for the lowest score for the number of events fished. This is still any ones game with 3 more event to come, so with that said the next event is July 11 back to south haven, Pyle's Porthole will be the sponsor of that one.

This was a great event with lots of participation. We had 22 boat in this event here are the results. Thanks to all that participated and all the great thing our sponsors have donated this season. If the pic. of the results is hard to see click on it and it will clear it up.

Ok , I received a call from one of the teams that is fishing saterday that said they would not be able to fish the blow day if we had to use it, becouse it is Father's Day. My question is to all that are signed up is , would you be able to fish Sunday if saterday is canceld , please reply to this post.

Also one thing that I forgot to mention is that the team at the end of the season that has fished the the most events with the lowest score will go home with a very nice prize.

Fishing was a little better for us yesterday from what its been the past week. I left the dock around 6ish and set up a little north in 80 fow with good friends Any Minute Now and Jeff were we went on a ssw troll. When we hit 100 fow the screen started to show a little promise with some good hooks and scattered bait around 60 down. We continued on that line out to around 170 were we turned back to the s.e. and ended the day just south of Saugatuck around noon going 7 for 12. The box consisted of 5 very nice coho , a king and a laker. All fish were in the 5-8 lb range. Sorry for the lack of pics in this report but when we got back to the slip my phone was dead, but here is a list or things that took hits. Silver Streak Wart Frog on a 150 copper Mag Silver Streak Green Muffin on a rigger down 57 Blue Dolphin Mini Silver Streak as a free slider on the rigger at 57 ft Silver Streak mag Slap Shot on a 250 copper "HOT" We ran this on both 250 coppers and it took 6 bites5 As a side note the best water by far was 130-140 this area took all but 3 bites, SOG was 3.2 and 2.9 at the ball . Drop the ball till your cable goes slack and that's bottom , and if you want it to stay on bottom , continue doing that till you see it dragging. The depth will be different with weight size, speed and current.
