Must be all the stars and planets aligned ... :D
Masybe you should get to work instead of playing on the puter all night. The people need their electricity. :D

Bingo!!!!!!!!!
Even more so if it was on state land.

What Steve said.

Good job GLF. Bet that big fella gave ya the butter flies and shakes when he came in.

Not sure if it has anything to do with protein but the new bean plants and their new shoots are a lot more tendar than an alfalfa or clover feild that has been there a few years. Once the hay feild is mowed and starts to grow you might see more feeding do to the fresh growth.

Here is a link that Val gave me and good luck.

Larry
Thanks for the link Larry. If I get into it again I have something new to try. Ended up calling the doctor yesterday, it was spreading like crazy. Had it on both arms, neck, face, legs. Just down right miserable and nothing was working. He gave me a scrip for some type of steroid, took the first three yesterday and can already tell the differents.Maybe next year I will remember to go get a shot in the spring to avoid the mess.

Have you told Char about this little plan Steve?? She may have the same idea, while you work on the boat and truck :D
Hay Wayne after your phone conversation with her the other day I thinks she may have a few plans for you and your ideas too. I won't post here what she said, don't want to get myself banned. :D :D Let's just say she wasn't real impressed with paying for a trip to New York.

Have you been taking Walt out fishing again Caz?

Well I finally gave up and called the doctor's office today, they phoned in something to kill the stuff and stop the iching I hope.

Steve,
The house that I live in now "The Lodge" was a rental when I bought the place and once you sign the paper work to buy the place any contracts with the previous owner are no longer valid and the occupant of that dwelling must leave at signing. Now if you are looking to keep these tenants they must sign a new agreement with you and then you can make clear what they need to do to stay.
Thanks for the help guys.
Steve
There is no contract with anybody right now. We are willing to rent the apartment to them but some things will have to change. Part of the problem is they don't know we are buying it so they have no clue what is going on. It should get interesting next week. The main floor is about 1200 sq/f and we are going to live in it and keep the apartment rented to make the house payment and make inprovements. I guess if there are to many problems we can open up the stair way and make it part of the house, give me a place to get away from the wife.

Welcome aboard Sea Mac.

Any body know the law concerning how long of a notice we have to give the upstarirs renter to remove his junk? We are suppose to sign papers next week and the people that rent the upstairs apartment have 3 junk snowmobiles, 1 boat that don't run and 1 that dose, a snow mobile trailer that hasn't moved in 3 months and a pickup box liner setting in the yard that we want gone. Not to mention he has the garage locked up witch he will no longer have use of. Just want to make sure we do everything on the up and up.

I have hunted ever since I was old enough and went pheasant hunting (with out a gun) before that. This year will make number 36 for deer hunting and around 42 for small game, Have only hunted turkeys for 3 years but after this past season it will also be a yearly thing.

For sure don't burn it, I have gotten it once because I drove through the smoke of someone burning it and I didn't know it till the rash started. Doctor told me several years ago that I should come into the office in the spring and he could give me a shot so I woldn't catch it and I always manage to forget.
LongLine you are right about not touching the stuff in the winter. One winter I decided to cut wood to help some freinds out. Well there was a big ash tree in the fence row with posion ivy vines all over it, I figured it was dead being it was the middle of winter and boy was I wrong. I cut through it several times without a problem but that night I woke up with my eyes swelled shut and I had the stuff everywhere. The doctor asked me how I got it and got a good laugh cuz he knew I was in bad shape and asked me if I learned a leason.
GLF I am not sure you can kill the stuff, it seems to survive no matter what ya spray on it.
-
Steve,
So sorry to here you got the itch! I have no cure as I never had the stuff.
You just need to be sure it is gone by the 15th. We have an issue of getting back in first place! Hope to see you then......itch free!
Rick

I will be there the 15th, no posin ivy is going to stop me from fishin. If it don't start clearing up in the next couple days I will give the doc a call, he has treated me for so many times he don't even have me come into the office, he just phones in a couple perscriptions and they do the trick.
-
Ok folks let's here some home remedies to get rid of the stuff. The last few times I have had to go to the doctor to get rid of it, there must be a way to kill the stuff. I have it on both arms, legs and face, down right miserable. Put bleach on my arms and les, stung like heck and don't look like it's clearing up any.

I will be up there also fishing the tourny in my uncle's new (to him) boat. Parking my boat for the weekend to fish with him due to a cancelation in his crew. l.
Good luck in the Tourney Matt, hope you do well along with any other site members.

Nice going Spoonfed. Got to love the quick limits, home in time for breakfest.
-
Nice meeting you at the way in Spoonfed. Glad to see the fish are still biting, hope to make it back again before they head back to Ohio waters.

Another great time. Fished with Tom(TGAFish) and his freind Tim and we were offf the water by 11:30. We figured the fish would be a little deeper,we were wrong and ran back up by the point in 19 feet of water and proceeded to catch a 3 man limit. Great time as usual and thanks Tom for the ride.

According to Michigan Law a Charter boat can not take out more than 6 people unless they are running a steel hull. This was what I was told by a charter captian a few years ago. I don't think you will find any charter boats going after walleyes in that type of boat but a perch boat should be easy to find.
-
Steve,
We got to try that again sometime!
Rick
Any time Rick, any time. Had a great time, and if we do it again ya have to bring uncle Jim along to keep the sheep head occupied.
-
Thanks for the report Steve! Did you release these walleye's or did they end up on the dinner table?
Mike
They ended up on the dinner plate:D Mighty tasty too.
"What took you so long we had our limit in 1.5"
Larry we had to catch 5 more than you.

Fished Friday 6/09 wth Rick(catfishoge) and his uncle Jim out od Sterling. We boxed a 3 man limit of 16 to 18 inch eyes in 2.5 hours. Everything was taken drifting crawler harnesess with bottom bouncers. Started in about 20 feet of water just off the point by Fermi and ended up in 23 feet of water. The best color of the day was a brown/tan blade with a small dot on it,copper also did well. A big thanks to Rick for the ride, had a great time. Sorry but had to had to wait till after the tourney to post a report.

Hit Duck Lake 6-6 with my brother in search of the big gills. Never got into the 10+ inchers but did end up bring home 18 ranging from 7 to 9 1/2 and my brother took home 12 in the same size range with 1 perch about 12 inches. Caught 1 large mouth that went about 3 1/2 punds and released it. Most fish were caught in 6 to 8 feet of water on half a crawler below a bobber and a few caught drifting right on bottom. The females still looked like the were a week or so from spawning, no real plumpers as far as eggs.

another great day on the water even though the fish didn't want to play. The June bite is always tough but there is always next time. Thanks for taking me along Rick and nice seeing ya again Justin. Thanks to Rich and Larry for putting these events together.
