You have to pry him out of the boat first before he can kill a deer LOL. If Jimmy spent as much time in the woods as he spends in the boat you would have a freezer full of venison.

Maybe this year if you like to. Maybe we can go up to Frankfort on Memorial weekend and try it. I went up there last year and did very good. Probly go Friday and leave there on Sunday morning.

I am with Rich, Frankfort is a real nice port. A buddy, my brother and I use to go up there a couple times a year, then they wimpped out and I haven't been there in a few years. Manistee or Ludington would be a close second.

I never took a deer last fall, with bow or gun. Saw over 40 on opening day of gun but didn't have a decant shot at any.

One evening last summer we were fishing out of Port Sheldon. Fishing was slow and we had only boated 2 fish as the sun set. I trolled a course toward the peirs and when we got into 80 feet of water a dipsey went off. Landed that fish and changed up to the glow Moonshines and in the next hour to hour and a half (after dark) we ended up with a 3 man limit and had to throw the last fish back because we couldn't get the lines out of the water fast enough.
