What (boat) are you running around on the Lake, and what is your fishing set-up? You mentioned leadcore and copper in your previous message. Any steel wire? Do you run dipseys? And what kind of Planer Boards do you run, Inline or Big Boards? Always curios to know how others have their boat's set up as it gives me ideas and I can always learn something new, even though I am getting to be an old dog.
2012 prov ht. 30 rod holders , 3 riggers. I run church and offshore inline boards. Usually run 4 divers/2 per side. Leadcore from 1 to 10 colors and a couple 300 coppers when needed.

$2 rectangular stone
Because it works
Hook needs to hang on a fingernail with no pressure applied
What FBD said. the old Mom and Pop bait shops sold them. I actually wore slots thru a couple( aging myself lol). inch wide 1/2 inch thick maybe 3 inches long grey stone.

If your just strictly for walleyes I would go with Okuma convector 20's. just finished 6th year and no issues. Can find them for $85 usd.

The Gander spoons were called Crippled Alewife, and that is definitely one of those.
Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes FishermanAgreed as well. Low cost and some great colors.

Thanks for sharing the spoon pic.

If your clip on the back of the board has a center pin and your lines behind the pin there is no way your going to loose the board unless the line breaks.

Not sure what used musky baits bring (last 7 pics). Willys file, baits and following plugs and box easy $400.

How many fish do you catch on a hot spoon before you replace split ring just because it might fail. Obviously after each fish a quick look to see if it's stretched .

Awesome report with pictures of the spoons. Bought ready to make a road trip from the dead west side.

You will be very happy in the long run by doing it right the first time. I think you did a first class installation.
