Torpedo diver rod, works great.
-
Very Nice,thanks for sharing.

I would run a regular diver for your high diver on braid.

This recipe came from the Milwaukee Great Lakes Sport fishermen news letter back in the mid 80's: author unknown to me.
8 oz soft cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
2T chopped onion
2T chopped chives
1T lemon juice
1/2 tsp Lawry's
1/8tsp dry mustard
1t Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes garlic salt
3-4 dashes black pepper
mix all together then add
2 Cups flaked smoked fish and gently blend in.:thumb:

That purple and yellow one works well behind a wonder bread flasher after 9 am 50 to 70 fow clear sky tight to the bottom for big kings:thumb:

Photo quality is excellent on 3;cudos to the photographer.

I have a bunch of the cv30d's as well, from 3 color through 6 and on the divers as well. I had one of my TR200's fail so I stuck a 30 on that rigger rod, liked it so much better that I'm switching out all my tr200s to the Okumas as well.

Very Nice, job well done AGAIN Frank.

Thanks all for input.like the idea of the larger screen, seeing as eye sight starting to poop out, must be that 50 something kicking in lol.
add ten more and you'll really appreciate it:grin:

I got the same one as well. My thoughts were "I got too much stuff now" and a fear that the stuff they send might not all be the latest and greatest, more of a shelf cleaning project.

Add in the fun factor and your $$$$$ahead of the game..Awesome catch.

On the deal too good to be true, ask if the plugs have been changed yet? They have a bit of a reputation that wasn't a better idea.Otherwise its a great vehicle.

Still would like more input if anyone is willing. Its a big investment and I don't want to screw it up. I am looking seriously at a boat and it has no fish finder on it. Ryan: how long is the price good for?
I'm by no means an expert but value my $$. For what its worth I just got my Garmin in the mail today from Ryan. I was looking at several brands.A couple things swayed the scale in Garmins favor, past experience on friends boats with garmins, the fact that I plan on adding radar,(plug and play/cost), I have the upmost confidence in Ryans working knowledge and also fear of customer no service from a couple competitors if needed.Plus I have a competitors product thats failed and no chance of fixing.

One hint is don't let them get dull. I use a steel after every cleaning session and sometimes halfway through a heavy cooler. Never have the need for a sharpner as the steel keeps it razor sharp.( I realize the steel is a finishing sharpner of sort.)

I would give the thumbs up to Sheboygan with excellent marina facilities and walking to shops as well.Plus the catching is very good both times of your travel.

I lay them in the cooler and snip the gills with a scissors.

The one in the middle/bottom pic gets my vote. I would buy a couple .
-
Cannon single axis gets my vote.

I'll second Ryan on the Torpedo swivels. Bought a sample pack at a vendor show this spring and liked them so much I have since bought enough to switch to them exclusive.
skin on or off

Skin off always.
I also remove lateral line and pin bones before vac packing. That way if I grab a fillet for deep frying its ready to go other then cutting into nugget size pieces.
If I smoke some after freezing presentation is not an issue as most of the time it goes into salads or dips.
