I'm wanting to fish the pier in August through the fall. Do I use a stronger pound test that the 10# power pro and 4#-8# leaders I use in the spring for steelies? What baits will work best? GD

Goby's don't have a swim bladder and can not suspend. They dart up and off bottom but spend bottom time propped on their pectoral fins. I'm not sure of how deep they are found in the Lake.

Sorry for the late report...we went out Sunday evening, 4/1, stayed in near shore, landed 2 browns. One was 4 # the other was a little bigger on Walker mini diver 55 " out with a Mixed Veggie spoon hanging behind it. so...2 for 2
